@@DoNoise I have owned the Timeline and Timefactor for example and for me this just does exactly what I want from a delay. Some say it should be stereo in and out but that doesn't matter to me at all.

6:50 and yet you can apply modulation to the looped audio (like a Lo-fi Junky, or mimic warble, or super fast random modulation that sounds like dirt...). Or crank the feedback and let it get progressively grittier.

The Rose has just one dealbreaking flaw for me in that the infinite repeat and reverse modes can’t work together. People say it does everything the EH 16 second delay does, but this is an essential feature of the EH that the Rose can’t do.

Are you sure about that? In the demo he says you can use reverse and infinite at the same time.

@@hoover728 you can set the feedback high while in reverse so that it’s kinda like infinite repeat, but you can’t have inf rep and reverse on at the same time. Also, the reverse feature is in the feedback loop, so reverse alternates from reverse to forward with each repeat. There are some similarities to the EH pedal but it’s definitely not the same. If you want a functional copy of the EH check out the units from Maneco or Expedition Electronics.

The Kokko Timer is probably the closest you're gonna find anywhere near that price. It's a digital delay with tap tempo

Avalanche Run has a great reverb and a very simple clean delay. I like delay with modulation and more control (and I already have great reverbs) so I’d go with Rose. That’s just me, though.
