Hey, just wanted to say thanks for the reviews, some of the best I've seen. I went back and forth between the Rose and Ultra Tap, went with the Rose, but what you did with the UT makes me think I'll own it as well. And your playing is stellar!!! Also, I dig the 5 Tones format.

Hear how the effects thrive on top end sources? They’ll die off with warm sources. Hence the difficulty finding the right mix of effects depending on source. Gorgeous Delay is one of Satriani’s contributions from the 4000 series, which carried forward in the ‘Artists Bank’. Knowing how effects thrive on highs, Gorgeous Delay is actually quite remarkable for it’s ability to fit a variety of sources. Cats rock.

You sir are a maestro. That thing sounds so good. Sooo good. Eventide just always seems to knock it out of the park with each item they release / sell. I am going to have to try their Harmonizer some day to get that Steve Vai harmonized lead tone.

Get a used Pitchfactor or a H9 for that tone, they nail it!

How do the poly digit delays compare to the Rose?

The Digit "Looping Delay" and "Time Stretch" modules can do similar things, albeit with a very different interface (knobs vs touch screen/LFOs etc)
