Oh no! I hope your toothache is on the mend. I'm glad it wasn't too painful for your first event back, what poor timing for your tooth to decide to pack a sad! Emily's plaits looked fantastic- both Lola & Banksy looked photo shoot ready with their turnout 😍 I love the look of well plaited or hogged ponies, with nicely pulled/plaited & banged tails 😍 My burst of laughter at Em's Lola & Banksy impression in the start box, almost resulted in the tea I'd just taken a sip of, to came shooting out my nose! 😅🤣 I loved walking the course with you both, it is really interesting seeing & hearing how others walk courses. Haha, well done keeping your footing while piggybacking Em through that stream! If that had been me, I'd have ended up on my backside in the water 🤣😜 Launceston has lovely looking water jumps. Trakehners scare the stuffing out of me- my first one ever was at PC champs (we'd never seen one before that lol), it was at the bottom of a steep hill with the log set at a 30 degree angle above the ditch (which to my then 14yr old mind was pretty much a horse & rider eating bottomless pit 😜 ). My mare jumped perfectly it after slowing to a trot to get a good look at it- mostly because I just there terrified hoping for the best, bless her- it was both of our first PC champs & only her third one day event ever at that time. You looked to both have nice calm dressage tests, Tina you did really well in the SJ considering you were poorly & your training paid off in terms of you were able keep a better position throughout the course despite being unwell- fingers crossed by your next event, you will be back to fighting fit, so are better able to attack the SJ & put everything you & Banksy have been working on into practice 🙂 Banksy looked like he was flying around the cross country course! I loved the smiles on your faces at the end of your Xcountry rounds. Well done your first event back. Can't wait to see your next event 🙂 Are you visiting Lucy &/or Meg?! 🤞🤞🤞😄

Well done!!! Both ponies looked great in the dressage! Lola seemed really supple and Banksy was listening and kept his neck soft a lot of the time! Tina was brave and wore her spurs!!! Really enjoyed seeing the whole curse this time! I love seeing the jumps and would love to see that in the future as well, maybe even with some commentry on how you want to ride each fence, i know that would be a long vlog, but i dint mind, because it gives such great insight into eventing! Likewiwe i would love a video on just the basics of eventing in the UK? Like what does novice mean ect? Because im not from the UK, so you guys throw arround a lot of lingo i dont know relating to eventing and the heights ect 🤣🤣 also just explaining how you move up and how a one day even works, everything from entering to the day off. That would be super exciting. 😊😊😊 maybe even a vlog about how dressage classes work and show jumping works? Like whats unaffiliated and whats not and how you sign up.

I know you more want them to explain in a vlog but I know a good bit even though I'm from Ireland 😂, so at an affiliated be event the levels are be80, 90, 100, novice (110), intermidiate (120) and advanced I think though I'm not sure what height it is, not sure how exactly to explain unaffiliated but affiliated is sort of like a membership so you register at the start of the year (it's rather expensive 😩) and then there's a calendar of all the affiliated be events you can go to which you can only do if you are a 'member', in Ireland you can do one offs if you aren't a 'member' but you pay twice the price for entry 😬, and unaffiliated competitions are run by the venues themselves and don't go through a bigger organization type thing, you don't need a membership or anything and entries are typically much cheaper, hope I answered some questions 🤷 not sure how clear I was 😂

@@gracepurewal thank you! 😊 We have a similar system, however all of our competitions are usually run by the Danish equestrian association. So we also pay a fee at the start of the year. But it depends on what levels you want to jump. So we decide our competitions in A, B, C, D and E and R. R is race shows, E is those who are at riding school and is on a team, D is the level above that, C is district, B is country wide and then of course A is international. You only have to pay the fee for D and above and thus if you only do D competitions then you don't pay as much as those who does A or C. 😅 And like C competitions in show jumping is 105 and upwards, so if you don't jump that high you can just do the D and it's like £25 for a year, so it's not that bad. And of you do dressage, you have to do affiliated since unaffiliated shows aren't allowed to use the same dressage classes. So a riding club has to make up the dressage programs before they can even do a show 🤦🤦🤦 so I guess thats why we don't really have unaffiliated shows, because it's so much work and you don't get it registered anywhere.

Well done Ladies, seems like the loads of training while in isolation will pay you back with some nice results. As a person who has to spend quite a lot of time away from home and our horses. Watching the two of you and your friendship, and the relationship with your horses is some what comforting. LOL you do such a great job on the vlogs its almost like i know horses personally.
