I have acne too it works fine for me bcus I have non active acne. vitamin c in its active form L ascorbic acid is terrible for active acne try using other non active forms like sodium ascorbate acid based serums (SAP) in lower concentrations to get your skin used to it for brighter fair skin also there are other creams without vit C like accufix glutathione+Kojic acid but for best result ask your dermatologist.
