Hello Tony Claire and Ian, you had a few nice park ups in your video, shame about that parking ticket 😤. Some lovely pictures taken by the looks of it. Hi ya. Whoop whoop👍😂, the sun finally arrived for a whole day....yippee and about time,ets hope it lasts. Yep, shame about the parking ticket, although to be fair, it usually costs more than €12 to park a van for a full day in a tourist spot, so it ended up not so bad👍😎🚐 Yes, up in the mountains and with the wind the temperature was pretty cold, but still warmer than expected👍🌞. 😂🤣👍, two old bodachs, we learn something new everyday lol! Hi Clare and Tony 👋 Great to see you guy's again. Last time I watched you, you were on the Isle of Arran. So I've got a bit of catching up to do. I've had a horrific 3 months. My Europe trip this year has been a real adventure. I started with 2 great weeks with friends in Poland, after which I travelled through Czech Republic into Austra. This is where it all went horribly wrong. I spent 8 weeks in hospital, after collapsing in the van. I had sepsis and my kidneys had shut down, in a coma for 4 weeks, touch and go for a while. Thankfully the medical staff worked wonders. I've had to learn to walk again, all very scary for a solo traveller. But I'm home now, and walking just with a stick. Cheers guys 👍 🐸

Another cracking video...... I'm always impressed, it must take so much of your time to 'set up' for recording, even getting permission to film in a cafe, finding places of interest, then the drone shots. Plus the uploading. I travel virtually 6 months a year.....I couldn't be ar##d to record it too. Thankfully, you tubers do it for me!

Another great park up over looking bilbao, just beautiful 😍. And Claire I couldn't see the two old men on a bench you were talking about, I did see two young guys a bit down on their luck, I do hope you helped them out with a few coins 🪙 😅. I also think you got a real bargain with the parking fine,probably cheaper than a normal car park 👍. One thing for sure you're never short of a beach or two in Spain 🇪🇸. Hey up buddy, what terrible news to hear that you've had to hide from 38 degrees C, how terrible, we hope that you can find a nice cool pool and ice cream😂🤣😂🤣. Yep, bloody typical, the only car park where there wasn't a height barrier and it was for apartment residents only....however, €12 and not €80 was a relief👍. Yes, a lot of restrictions for vans around Bilbao, but I'm sure that if you know the area, there's probably loads of places to park up.....just a shame we couldn't find them. Some beautiful places on that north coast..particularly your last stop right on the golden beach. One thing that came to my attention during our 3 weeks tour of Spain 7 months ago was the amount of graffiti even in the most desolate and seemingly inhospitable of places! My ridgemonkey came today - its exactly same dimensions as yous as it happens so will keep hold of it and have it for our van

What an amazing park up, the front wheels literally on the beach. Yep, unfortunately we made the exact observation, too much graffiti and crap graffiti at that, just name 'tagging' everything; very disappointing. Evening both, hope you are well. Well Northern Spain is a pleasant surprise 😊 and I can see why the coastal towns remind you of Honfleur. Pity the local council are out for your money, parking is a problem whatever country you’re in. The blue skies and sunshine give you a false impression as it looks extremely cold there. The end shot was like you were in paradise and white sand. Great viewing❤❤🚐🍺🍺Al. PS not been too well that last few weeks so only just catching up. Loved Pamplona though

Hi there Al, sorry to hear that you've been under the weather, we hope that you are feeling a little better now👍. Yep, the coastal villages are very similar to Honfleur, beautiful and untouched unlike the modern rubbish built in the 70s along much of the east coast. Yes, the temperature difference in Spring compared to the summer is quite extreme, some days/locations the temperature reached mid 20s🌞 and others (especially in the mountains) didn't get much higher than 5 degrees🥶. Yes, what a park up and as it wasn't the height of summer, we managed to get away with it. Again, hope you're feeling better now and many thanks as always. 👍💙❤️🚐🇪🇸

And there lies the problem , the Germans . They sell 10 times the amount of campervans and motorhomes in Germany than they do in Spain and they flood down to Spain for the winter . They overwhelm the east and south coast and the local police turn a blind eye while the local authorities install height barriers . It's a lose lose situation . However , we still enjoy our travels in spite of . Great vlog all .

Indeed Ken, we couldn't believe just how many Germans were along the east and south coasts on our earlier Spanish tour; interesting about the police turning a blind eye!! Yep, don't let them spoil your adventures, that would be awful. You'll have to check out north Spain some time, it's awesome. Hope you're both well and many thanks as always mate.

@@adventurevanfreddie we were in Aguillas last year where the national park was packed with German vans and the police were just driving by and doing nothing . Sixteen years ago we rented a villa long term in Almeria and anyone parking on that coastline was moved on and threatened with a thousand euro fine .
