Those are some deep cuts!! I was wondering a couple months ago if a Data East Arcade 2 cart would come out in November, so I am glad they are releasing this! Surprisingly, I haven’t heard of almost any of these games. It is going to be a good experience of discovery, I hope! Toaplan getting to #3 first for the arcade carts is great! It has a good mix of big hits like the Batsugun games and Truxton II, plus shooters I have never heard of. Both of these will be buys for me! I really appreciate how you said that Blaze has redeemed themselves. I hope September and December carts will also be great so that 2024 can be at least close to as great as they claimed it would be. **Phrase to show I watched to the end goes here, lol!**

Data East Arcade 2 looks great. Toaplan Arcade 3 looks good, but i don't find myself going back to Toaplan's 1 and 2 very much.

Toaplan 3 is TATEtastic and a nice collection of games on the Data East 2 cart. Pity it's not Konami, Sega or Taito but we've gotta keep it real and these are two solid releases. Keep up the awesome work!

Both of these arcade carts look good to me - I think I’ll probably be more into Toaplan 3, but Data East 2 I think had some potential to have some good games that I’ve never heard of before, which often is a lot of the fun for me. I wouldn’t say I’m “super pumped” about these collections (they’d probably need to be releasing an SNK or Konami arcade cart, or maybe an Irem arcade collection 2 cart for me to be jumping out of my seat), but they do look good and I’ll get em both when they’re available.

I forgot to add that I am really happy they’re doing arcade carts. I think I’ve had enough of the early 3D ps1 games - I really got into Evercade for the 80s/ 90s console + arcade collections and modern retro games/ collections. I feel like the push for these ancient console 3D 1st/ 3rd person shooters should be a small but loud minority but blaze is saying they have been their highest cart preorder sales. So I worry the system will ultimately get bogged down with this stuff I don’t really have any interest in - so arcade carts like these really are a breath of fresh air

The games on both Data East Arcade 2 and Toaplan Arcade 3 carts are incredibly rock solid. Sadly, we didn't get to see the inclusion of Magical Drops II and III, Karate Champ or Burnin' Rubber on the Data East one, as well as the inclusion of Grind Stormer or Knuckle Bash on the Toaplan one. It would've been great if they were included, unless Blaze makes another Data East cart.

I heard someone else suggest Boogie Wings might be a hidden game unlocked along with Data Arcade1 but I'm not so sure about that. I kind of think they saved a few titles thinking ahead for another arcade cart. But yeah, Boogie Wings is a ton of fun so I hope it makes it to Evercade in some form.

I'm really looking forward to these carts. it's just a shame we have to wait so long to get our hands on them. would love to see blaze focus less on new consoles like the alpha and more on quantity and speed of cart releases. these look like they could be some of the best yet though!
