Bar chords are the way to go. Once you have that 3 finger configuration figured out, it’s as simple as moving it up and down the frets and strings. In theory, it’s actually easier to play bar chords than it is to learn the actual chords because of the awkward movements you have to make to transition. With bar chords it’s pretty much the same formation transitioned.

Nice. I think there is an escalation as follows: (Intro and first verse) Neck pickup, clean, but on the edge of breakup; (Second verse, bass and hi hat, drums come in, first chorus) Bridge pickup, slight overdrive; (Third verse) Bridge pickup, distortion engaged.

Go to settings on the video and slow the video down !! This is the only way I can figure out some of these "easy" songs myself and I been playing for 20years now 😢😮 Gotta do sum ear training while u sleep with yt videos I promise it has helped me a lot, then practice and it will come easier to u ! I'm proof of that, but I'm a slow learner... I only knew riffs of songs for the longest, including the intro to this song but never got past the intros of most songs cuz it's just too many I wanted to learn

The song is super easy.. but it’s one of those weird songs for me that the little timing between the lyrics and the riff are not coming easy.. Some songs are like this for me, it just doesn’t click quickly when I’m trying to sing it, and then eventually I get it

tbh i just play bar chords as power chords and then practice the bar chords separately on their own

I reckon that stops alot of people because barre chords are much easier on a well made guitar. And when starting out most of us start on a lower end cheaper guitar.

Have you tried to do the G to an Em? I think it sounds a bit more clear and deeper, I am not a fan of the off on g, because the chord left is a bit choppy. I have always played it with the Em, and stumbled on this while trying to remember chorus. Everything is great btw, but I just figured I would say the Em in my ear sounds like the more correct version, but I cant definitively find an answer from everclear necessarily. So just thought I would add that, have a great one and thanks!

There is no A chord in this song, The chorus goes like this: Phase 1: C-D-G Phase 2: G-E-D (the E here is an E5 Chord with the Octave, not the open E. Tab would A:5 D:7 G:7 not E:0, A:2 D:2) Phase 3: D-C-G Transition: G-D-C Repeat Phrases 1-3. All the videos for this song declare it beginner or easy. None of them have it right.
