This was my teenage anthem! ❤️ I saw them play at the Moon in Tallahassee in maybe 1998 or 1999, and just as they were about to play this a girl jumped onstage. Security tried to take her off, and Art stopped the set and said to them, “ Hey man, don’t throw people out of my fucking show!” It was awesome, but then he decided the Fire Maple Song was “too hippie” for the crowd and they didn’t play it 😭 Every once in a while, when I want to break my own heart, I listen to it…

Anyone who’s lost anyone special can relate, “ I can’t smile. I don’t know what’s happened to me. I don’t know what’s happened to me.” The pain is always raw. I loved this song before I’d lost anyone, now it hits that much harder. Love your peeps while you got em’ ❤️ Tomorrow is never promised is no joke

This band could have easily been one of the greatest of the 90s and this album proves that statement. Truly a shame you can’t get this on spotify/apple music. Bought it on CD off ebay for 5 bucks.

Dragon Lord Skater 1969 oh man the wave of nostalgia this song and thinking about La Luna just gave me. Those were really the days. Years before this band ever hit MTV they were special to people from around Stumptown. They were so special to me.

I listen to this song and all the anger and frustration and rage and sorrow and confusion and all the other shit that's built up in me since the last time i listened to it just seems to pour out of me and carry away on and in the music and Art's voice. The single most cathartic experiences I know of. Again, Thank you Art.
