Someone who agrees with me.. i found Elixir very sweet and nauseated .. so i purchased EDT and i like it so much.. after settling it feels like rose flower on skin with a bit of sweetness ☺️☺️

All Elixir perfumes are the strongest concentrations of the perfumes created. I would spray elixirs in my unscented body lotion then rub on my skin to help with the higher scent concentration. Versus spraying directly onto skin. EDTs are always way less concentrated. Hope this helps someone ❤

Haha, I feel like I'm in the outlier with Her Elixir as my favorite and also my day-to-day scent... I just really love it in all stages of its dry-down, and I only use a couple of sprays, so it doesn't end up overwhelming or anything! I love that I can smell it at least a little bit all day even when I'm on a 10 hour shift. It makes me happy!

I just tried Burberry Her Elixir at Nordstrom. My firsthand impressions are that it smells like fresh raspberry at first and quickly fades to a sweet, warm toasted marshmallow. Despite it being very sweet, it is by no means "juvenile." It somehow smells sophisticated like a gourmet marshmallow that is being toasted on low-burning fire with raspberries near by. I hope makes sense. My boyfriend much preferred Burberry Her to Chanel Chance (Tendre and Fraiche) and Le Gourmand Fleur de blonde.

Monika thank you for the comparisons❤️ I have Burberry Her eau de Parfum 💗 Every time my sister wears this one I think she’s wearing BR540!! I have to stop and tell myself wait she doesn’t have that one☺️ I heard that the same perfumer Maison Francis is the perfumer behind Burberry Her! No wonder they are very similar 💞

It’s interesting how noses differ. Elixir doesn’t pull that sweet to me. I found the edp way sweeter. I can actually wear Elixir on a day to day basis.

I love the Elixer. Before I loved the Intense, but it was discontinued. Sadly. But now I have grown to love the Elixer the most ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

I love the Her “franchise!” I have the original, Elixir, Blossom and Intense but I think the OG is probably my favorite. I must try the EDT!

I had to return the edp and elixir. I loved how sweet and the faint B-540 smell but I had to return because after a few hours it would become candy like and I would get a migraine. I have the edt and it’s absolutely lovely, it’s easy to wear and I think it’s a great choice for spring.

Burberry Elixer sort of reminds me of when I used to play with my mom‘s make up when I was young. There was a lotion, called Moon Drops 🌕 💧 and it sort of reminds me of that mixed with the smell of lipstick and sugar! 💄

Her Edp gives me strawberry ice cream vibes but not cloying. I’m amazed as I’ve tended to avoid Burberry assuming it would be generic but it really isn’t.

I had and wore Elixir to death last year 😅 I couldn’t get enough of it. Until one day, when I gave it away, because I was unable to wear it anymore. I probably overdid it, as you say it’s a special occasion scent. Now I only have the Intense version.

The edp is my fav as it smells like cloud but with strawberry said thing is I don’t love strawberry! I wish they would do Burberry Her edp DNA but ALL vanilla and no strawberry 😢

The petals version is the EDP but the special limited bottle with petals :)

Hi, I prefer the elixir version, however, I'm allergic to this perfume. I prefer its smell on my skin and I don't like it on fabric. Unfortunately, my skin becomes itchy after spraying the perfume. Do you know a comparable smell? I like the middle note and the base note more than the starting notes which seems a little artificial for me.

I love the elixir scent it was exactly as described, however I noticed it wore off rather quick, the eau de toilette is definitely my favrotire too it lasts FOREVER and gets the most compliments. Scents depend heavily on how hydrated your skin is, ima try the elixir again right outta the shower. Oh and for f**k sake DO NOT rub the scent onto your skin! Let it settle then dry completely

Which perfumes would you recommend for a lover of Aqua do Gioia? It’s very difficult for me to find a fragrance that I really like.. I got a sample of Chanel Chance and did not like it at all.. I ordered a bunch of samples based on some of your recommendations and I’m hoping that I would find a couple that I would love.. Some of what I ordered: Black Opium, YSL Libre Parfum, Mon Guerlain, Oud Wood, Bal d’Afrique, Valaya, Gris Charnel 👀

Yesterday I got a sample of Elixir and it is very strange. I can barely smell it and feel only mild sweet strawberry candy smell. My mother and brother feel it totally different. They say that they feel it quite strongly and they smell spices, like cloves or something...

I don’t smell much with it either. You’re not alone. The EDT, which I think pulls different notes out of the original than the elixir, smells much stronger to me than the elixir or even the original.

Scents can sometimes be that way. For example I have a perfume that is hyper strong when I smell it, my husband can't smell it at all. I mean at all at all. Our noses are sometimes anosmic to certain notes for whatever reason :)
