great playthrough! had spotted some corrections: 5:06 Historian’s passive card drawing ability triggers for playing Gen Store card 10:15 dungeon 10:50 husband 11:23 wife 5:30 drawing multiple cards from meadow should all be done first before replacing them with new ones.. automatic replenishing of meadow is only applicable when playing a card 11:30 fool card is a unique critter thus it cannot go with the city where it already has a copy in 13:05 :D 15:05 Fool card has not been discarded actually. it was supposed to be replacement for the husband in dungeon but played it for free because of the farm card 15:10 playing Ruin will refund the discarded card’s requirement

A couple of things: Yes, I unfortunately had a technology limitation with getting my camera high enough for the playthrough, which made it not possible to keep our private hand of cards consistently in the shot. It ended up being really confusing to have us talk about our hands from time to time but not have the viewer see it. I made a judgement call and edited out lots of the drawing and just de-emphasized that aspect. I hated doing it, but I could not get more in the shot. So we were actually drawing cards for the Historian. In fact, I went way to hard on cards and maxed out most of the game - very wasteful of me. Interesting point on the fool being unique. I guess since it goes in your opponents city I've never thought about the fact it's unique. This is really important because this playthrough wasn't the first time I was double-fooled, which is very hard to beat without the Dungeon. But you're right, that's completely against the rules. Noted for next time. Ah I see, I did end up wasting my dungeon discount. I could have crushed him by more 😂

@@boardgameplays thank you! nonetheless, despite the limitation, the video quality is very neat, clean and easy to follow to be honest! thus I was hooked and really watched the full play through..not to mention the interaction between you two are genuine since that’s the actual interaction I also had with my playmates, even worse lol. yeah, I felt that drawing card is not shown and done offcam, thanks for clarifying that :) i couldn’t ascertain as though if the card given to you by opponent through Teacher card ability made your hand limit over the max (8) and thus should be discarded instead. Adding Bellfaire’s Player Power cards which makes game asymmetrical in terms of different unique ability will surely spice things up - very recommendable. Not to mention, there are player power that increases your hand limit to as high as 12 😅 forgot to emphasize the importance of replenishing meadows asap after playing a card from there as it changes the way cards you draw appear. For instance, for a “draw-card ability” card played from meadows, if you drew card BEFORE the meadows is replenished with a new card, you might end up missing the ones you need as it will be laid on the meadows up for grab. happened to me multiple of times 😁 please do a play through with expansions added and/or solo play with Mistwood as I really enjoyed the vid as with others.. the channel deserves more subs! more powers to you all!

@@kingraijun9908 Thanks. Yeah, we have a lot of fun and try to keep the interactions real (not scripted). I haven't tried any of the expansions yet for Everdell. Maybe this video will get tons of views and Starling Games will want to send them to me 😄 But I do love asymmetry in any game, so I'm 100% sure I'd like it. And yeah, I'm hoping the channel continues to grow. I'd love to have even more time to dedicate to making videos if it was more of a job. It just takes time for the word to spread and for people to share with friends. KZbin is promoting my videos more and more, which is awesome, but still takes time.

Should only refill the meadow after you're finished drawing cards from it, so when going into summer you shouldn't have had access to that Theater.

Oh yes, the first time I played I remember thinking 15 would be hard, but by the end of the game you are really picking and choosing the best 15.
