I'm not a climber but I've always wondered how those snow cornices hold up under all the weight and vibration of hundreds of individuals. I understand it's more ice than snow but it's still hardly what I would consider structurally rated for large groups of people, especially over and over again. I'm surprised this hasn't happened before on Everest. I've heard of climbers falling when cornices collapse on other peaks and whenever I look at those long lines of people, I shiver and not because of how cold it is. While I have no dog in this fight, it would make sense to limit the number of people on the mountain at any given time but, as hurryingman9071 points out, money drives everything.

Conga line up and down the mountain. Ridiculous example of sheer greed and commercialization turning what was a noble endeavor into a cheap carnival ride for the rich and vain.

In case of emergencies an D they have to bivouac before completing their descent. Exte oxygen, tent, food

@@marygoodson4920 no one carries tents or extra oxygen on their summit push nights ... that would add too much weight.

The Nepal government should close the mount everest for upto 4 years so that no one goes there and litter it with trash and poop. This mountain holds most significance as its the tallest one of all the other mountains and is a unique geological wonder and whole world must respect this and the integrity of this giant. Also they can get help of DJi drones or any other company drones to collect all the litters from that mountain and clean it for good as its also the main glacier people use its water through rivers. Nepal should not give permits to all the people to climb this insensibly

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. They need our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ coz we are spiritually lost.
