Hats off to you Simon, that cold looks BRUTAL. Lucky is stayed dry there use those roads would have been lethal. I’m planning on the Lost Grand Canyon tour in Feb 25 so it will be much warmer 😂😂😂

Hi Simon, I know what you’re talking about riding with minus 11. A few years ago I ride from Saint Petersburg to Helsinki at minus 16. It was crazy, but there was no other option. Heated grips didn’t help much😉.

I'm impressed by your ride from Saint Petersburg to Helsinki in such extreme cold. It must have been quite a challenge, especially with the heated grips not providing much heat. Enduring -16°C on a bike is easy task especially when riding long days. I’m not a fan of the cold but I’m glad I did this one, just to prove a point to myself 🥶👍🏍️💨💨

Is there a reason for so many prayer flags in the middle of nowhere? They seem to be everywhere! 👀
@thatbikersimon11 ай бұрын
They generally put them at the high passes and it’s just a religious part of Tibet.

Tibetan Buddhism believes that the scriptures on the flags can be transmitted far away with wind blowing on them each time.

@@XiaoweiVon thanks for the info. I wish I had known that before I put the video out. Thats a cool fact.

Hi Simon, I was fortunate enough to have been on the July Roof of India trip so I've been following your videos avidly, always great to watch and they bring back some great memories! Can I ask what drone you're using? I am booked on the Grand Canyon tour in February 25 and keen to get some aerial shots to go with the GoPro footage!

That’s fantastic news. It’s certainly a great experience for me on these tours and I’m glad I can share them With everyone. I use a DJI mini pro 3 but i would buy the DJI mini 4 if I was buying a new one. I would say buy one with the build in screen it’s saves a lot of messing about connecting your phone. I know the DJI mini 4 has a better range saying that my mini 3 did the job just fine.

That's very helpful, this drone was on my shortlist and you have confirmed! thanks Simon.@@thatbikersimon
