FABULOUS video series. Totally feel like I'm there with you!! Best I've seen yet on the trek in and with all the sounds! I also loved Base Camp > Khumbu > Camp 1 and Camp 2 video. Wish List: I wish I'd been able to see the food you ate at Base Camp and Camps 1 and 2. Also, I wish there was any video anywhere out there, but haven't found yet, that focused on the sounds in the icefall. I've never heard the sounds , but understand there are some. Questions: 1. Exactly, what time of year did you do these things? It seemed like you were the only person on the trek in! 2. I read that the trek smells bad like yak urine and feces. True or false? 3. What are the bathrooms like in the inns like? Holes in the ground? 4. What is your accent? It's very cool. MANY thanks!!

Thanks for your comment, I will try to cover at least some of your wishes in the next videos. Regarding your questions: 1. End of April - May 2. True, but not so bad 3. In inns mostly dry or with a bucket of water, but inside the building. In camps hole in the ground 4. Ukrainian ;)

Great vid! Do you know if a solo EBC trek is still allowed or a guide is mandatory now? Thanks

EBC - allowed, as region Solu Khumbu made such decisions. Annapurna circle - guide is mandatory

Thank you so much for your wonderful video....I really enjoyed your style...very natural and real. I will be doing the same trip this May with my son and I am so excited! I'm sorry if I missed it, but can you tell me what month this was that you did your trek?

Why did you go up via Tengboche when there is a much more impressive high trail on the opposite side of the valley? The Mong La - Phortse - Pangpoche High Scenic Trail offers vastly better views high across the valley, lots of wildlife and practically no other trekkers. Tengboche can be visited on the way down.

@@JustFromThere So it was not a "once-in-a-lifetime trek"... Well, I have been there 5 times since 1985, and planning to go again this November.
