I did this Mountain Flight yesterday with Buddha Air and I cannot recommend it! Dirty, scratched windows in an 24year old ATR at FL220. You fly very far away from the mountains!!! Yes, one of those peaks might have been the mount Everest, but you are really too far away to see anything. In fact every "Rock" looks the same... And if you still like to do it: Do not sit on the right side of the aircraft, like I did, where you see nothing but the Kathmandu Smog and clouds for more than 30 minutes. Then the aircraft turns and for 5 min. you see the mountains before the aircraft turns left to descent into the Kathmandu valley. Save those 220US$. It's not worth it! You absolutely do not see, what you expect to see!!!

Used Buddha Air recently for this mountain flight experience. I can certainly say, its not that great experience at all. They wont even guide passengers as to what peaks are they viewing. Basically its similar view that you can see from multiple different locations in Nepal
