Adios made me fall in love with Everglow....and YES the structure of the song is quite spectacular and that amazing pre chorus leading into one of the longest delayed drops I've ever heard make the chorus BANG like nothing else, so even if you don't like the chorus you would definitely feel the impact and power....just amazing

I feel like Everglow consistently uses various 2000s EDM vibes in their songs. It’s so cool for a boomer like me haha. Even if I didn’t necessarily listen to those genres back in the day!

Each of their bsides are pretty unreal and there is still a mv campaign for unicef, called Promise. Its sad that it wasn’t promoted a single bit, because oh god, hell of a song and also like all their choreos love it*in the dance practice which shows it way better. I truly believe that if the song was release or promoted as a title track in any other group its a gg game over😂😂 (its a “””softer””” kind of song though) In the future it would be awesome for u to know them better, as quite interesting human beings hahhaha

This was a amazing song, sadly when it came out many compared it to kill this love (bp) and saying its just a off brand, but everglow has a nice and unique sound. I totally get the similarities but this song alone stands out.

I definitely wasn't a fan of it as well at first. But it definitely grew on me as soon as I listened to it more. Loved the pre-chorus at first listen, loved the raps, chorus and first verse took a while for me to get used to. Ofc now those don't rly matter bc I love the song now lol

Wow this past week i've been listening to Everglow non-stop since I finally went through all of their songs and loved them!! What a coincidence that you're reacting to them :o I also don't really like EDM especially the EDM that is there in many kpop choruses and yet for some reason I love Everglow's title tracks.... so I guess they are one of the exceptions. As for Adios, I absolutely love the song even tho, like you, the chorus is my least fav part. But like you said, the verses and the buildup is so fucking insane that you can't help but enjoy the chorus even tho it usually isnt what u like! Thanks for this reaction!!!

I completely understand where you were coming from. There are very few genre in music that I would say that I am 'not very into', but when I listen to things, I like GOOD MUSIC. This was good. Even with elements of a genre that you are not really into or even possibly straight-up do not like, the song is AMAZING overall. The company knows what they are doing and these ladies truly deliver. Adiós is maybe one of the biggest growers for me in K-pop. I hated the song when it came out especially after the love I had for Bon Bon Chocolat. Because this sound is the worst for me as well... but eventually... I am a sucker for this track now. The prechorus is my favourite part of the song. Everglow has a dreamy anthem like vibe to them that just makes you feel large and ready to conquer anything. Everglow is THAT group.
