Seems like the girls received a little more love in Atlanta than Dallas. From videos I’ve seen, everyone in Dallas seemed dead to me. Like, you’re at a concert, aren’t you? But, here. Even with the audio issues, the fans supported the girls all the way through. I actually felt the energy! Forevers in the ATL, you guys did a fantastic job! 💜

All those people who were "disappointed" because everglow didn´t sing live don´t have an idea of how the world works and believe that they are the ones who decide when to sing or not, IT IS THEIR COMPANY. You also don't have an idea of what it is to sing and dance live, most idols do lip sync in their presentations and it isn´t a bad thing, they focus more on their choreography and the quality of the dance, stop demanding things that arent in their hands.

To some people having a company that may sometimes have you lip sync isn't a big enough deal breaker to try to leave before the contract expiration date AND risk paying a heavy fine while being indebted to the company. Also I must point out that Mamamoo is a vocal based group and not a performance based group so they definitely should be singing. But a group like Black pink, who's a performing based group-if they had a different company would end up lip syncing. I have seen events of performing/dance based K-pop group lip sync to their songs when they were not given any mics.

@@scarlett6977 Idols are not singers first then performers. If they were singers first than they would be vocalists/singers. But they're idols. Being an idol is more than just singing, dancing and/or rapping. There are idols out there who literally got into their companies from their ACTING skills, MCing skills, Modeling skills, Songwriting skills, composing skills or simply because of their personality and energy. Idols aren't just limited to one thing (singing) and that's the beauty of Korean idols. I know another idol country is similar with it not just being about singing. In a country like Japan the purpose of their idols is to connect to the audience. Singing, dancing and rapping talent is second to connecting with the audience and giving a good performance. Their system is based on the connections idols have with their fans. They make a profit off of that sort of relationship. (K-pop kind of has this too but it's not as emphasized as J-pop) I don't know about VietPop, MandoPop, Cantopop, Thaipop or Qpop idol system well enough but I wouldn't be surprised if the focus is also NOT on singing, dancing and rapping talent. Also, thinking of idols JUST as singers completely ignores rap based groups like BTS (literally formed around the leader RM who is a rapper), Seo Taiji & The boys or idol rap soloists like E'Dawn, HyunA, Zico, etc. It also completely ignores dance based groups like Miss A and After School. (Yea I can't think of more modern examples sorry listening to more indie music/just listening to older people at this point.) I've been listening to idol music for well over a decade now. It used to be worse than this if my memory was correct it was common for companies to just have idols lip sync a lot. If you're coming into idol K-pop expecting everyone to be these fantastic singers with all the groups having a focus on singing than I'm sorry but I think you have the wrong genre. You may need to listen to Korean indie pop music, Korean R&B, Korean Trot, Korean indie or something.
