@@aydollievu_ only rookie idol groups perform senior groups’ songs to show off their skills. But Everglow debuted in 2019 and they are not a rookie group. They are literally senior to Aespa but covering a junior group’s song

@@manofsesame3024 Yoona snsd debuted on 2007 but covering new jeans, aespa, nct127 and ive songs on her fan meeting also seventeen, mamamoo, stray kids, taecyeon, woseok etc literally do the same things too, so there's no thing such as "only rookie idol groups perform senior groups song to show of their skills" nowdays. Mostly now any K-pop group will cover a popular songs to entertain their fans even If they're the senior
