They went hard like boy group. Everglow's songs always have that intense chorus plus the catchy beat in the chorus. I feel like their producers etc purposely make song like this for Everglow so they can pull off like male groups energy. In other agencies they would pass this type of intense song to their male groups. It's cool tho girl groups pull off the intense vibes like this but the thing about intense song especially for girl groups are kinda hard to follow/jamming it (or sometimes they would say too loud/noisy).

I would rather say that the korean mostly sleeps on them. I believe they had lots of international fans. I remembered they already had an American Tour or something when they were just a rookie. I read somewhere that knetz and the industry are not really supportive on these girls since they are under a China based label. Im not sure if this is true or not. But imagine, nobody in their own country acknowledge their musics but Billboard used to mentioned them as one of the best! I wish they can go as big as BTS someday cause these girls are truly remarkable.

When they said people are sleeping on Everglow, they are talking about In korea (and they are correct). The views everglow get are from International fans, they are literally Ignored by koreans. And this Isn't necessarily a good thing because they aren't a pop group, they are a K-pop group meaning they should be popular In korea (But they aren't). Views aren't everything, If you don't get attention from your own country then that's a problem. The sad part about this Is that the reason they aren't popular In korea/koreans Ignore them Is because the company Is from china and they have one member (Yiren) who Is chinese which Is kinda racist (They literally have 5/6 korean members).

Most of the groups you have mentioned get pretty good attention In korea. And If everglow was "That" popular then both La Di Da and Dun Dun would have got atleast 1 win, but NO they were Ignored (La Di Da was also the song that almost every K-pop fan called Soty but It still got no wins and It was the least viewed everglow song). Tbh everglow doesn't even have a lot of (Dedicated) fans, most people that watch everglow are just causal listeners and not actual stans. We literally had to get help from different fandoms just so this song could get ONE win. Don't get me started on album sales because almost nobody buys everglow albums.
