My grandmother who passed in 1992 is buried there. I was 3 when she passed, I remember her funeral but not the cemetery. I went to see her grave for the 1st time in 2012 and was surprised at how dead the cemetery is. My aunt died in 2011 and her wish was to be buried there, but we buried her at Inglewood Park Cemetery for financial reasons. Wanting to grant her final wish I went to evergreen to see about moving her there, and the lady in the office was shocked that I inquired about moving her from Inglewood to dead Evergreen.

You should have visited Calvary Cemetery interesting story how it was moved from near dodger stadium to it's present location & is also one of Los Angeles's first catholic cemetery

Good video, but I also read somewhere that evergreen did not allow blacks to be buried there until a certain year... is that true? U made no mention of it.

this is the first and the only cemetery that allowed blacks to be buried in its time.

great videos man. ive watched all your videos, now im subbed. can you do me a favor and check out my short lil edit of me and some buddies adventure to the rindge dam in malibu? its over 100 years old and has been "abandoned" since the 80's. it makes for a great year-round cliff jumping location. it would be cool to see you have an episode covering the dam. anyways, it would be awesome if you checked out my video, thanks!
