Looks are subjective but I like it. Face to face will decide for me. Love the electronics update. Been wanting the cruise control especially. Sure the Z light is gone but trying new can be good. Again - need to see it and ride it.

I mean the hornet is actually not even competing with this since that thing has 155 hp so it's more in the realm of a hyper naked and competes with the likes of mt10 but somehow it's cheaper than this one LMAO.The honda 1000 hornet sp might be the best bang for buck in the last decades not gonna lie, you get a CBR1000rr derived engine and loads of tech for the cheapest price on the market bar none.
@cloudcata8300Ай бұрын
@@fs5866 Depends on where you are but no, the honda doesn't have a 6 axis imu and only the SP comes with a quickshifter, yes the engine is better performance wise but that's about it. And now as for the prices I don't know about other continents but in Europe the Z900 2025 is 10100 Eur including vat while the standard hornet which has no qs, no 6 axis imu is 11500, the SP is 13000. So with the Z900 you pay 3000 less and have all the electronics suite and the same torque in the low to midrange rpm. I wanted the hornet since it has the fireblade engine detuned so it will be bulletproof but I can't ignore the 3k euros price cut for the Z900. 120 hp is plenty for me, if I want real power I have my gen 3 hayabusa. But if someone has the budget, yes I'd get the hornet SP as well, it's a fat better bike performance wise but for me, it's pointless, I'll only use it inside the city

@@superduperkid3143 Not for power. It does beat the Honda on electronics. No IMU on the Honda. I think the Kawi looks nicer ecpecially with the green frame. Pricing is similar so they are both very good bikes for the money.

Oh dear. Kawasaki have been very lazy as of late. The new Z1100 and Versys 1100 have reduced power ,no restyle whatsoever and remain fairly heavy. And now this. Yes, the electronics are welcome but the re-style is disappointing. And why have they not bothered to cut the weight. It was already a fair bit heavier than the competition and now it is even heavier. Why? What is wrong with Kawasaki at the moment? It is like they cannot be bothered to put any real effort into their bikes.The fact is their competition are much more pro active and make much more of an effort when they update their machines. I feel Kawasaki are going down the same route as Suzuki did a few years ago with little to no real effort with their bikes. The ZH2 should have had a restyle and lost some weight to make it more attractive to potential buyers but they have done nothing. I feel their sales will suffer for this.

Not many motorcycles released in the recent decade that AVOID the 2-tier so-called updates: more power, more amenities/tech, or both. Royal Enfield seems to be the only company that's avoiding this trap. Try making a heavily appealing motorcycle without the trap of amenities/tech and horsepower addiction. Just try. How would you do it? Capturing the essence of what makes a motorcycle a motorcycle, while making it simultaneously appealing. Such as unique engine/note/power delivery, fit/finish, ergos, and visual appeal that lasts. The engine development thing is where manufactures are falling flat. Why? Stupid regulation bureaucracies. And no, I am NOT meaning "just add power." Clearly there are other manufactures just adding power. BMW and Ducati seem to be doing that, modifying 1L or 1.2L engines to make near double the power they once did (you can't, you simply shift where the engine makes power).

It's just so goddamn bland. Still ugly, still heavy, still not as fun as an MT09. FFS, all they had to do was give it a proper aluminum chassis and hire a few actual designers. Instead they just dumped a bunch of off-the-shelf Bosch/Conti electronics on top of a mediocre redesign and called it a day. It really doesn't seem like Kawasaki (and Suzuki) are planning to remain in the motorcycle business much longer.
