. Prainer The VIII is one of my most favourite records ever. Pure emotion. Reminds me of living with my stepdad back in old Woking about seven years ago, after having lived in London for years and ending up in failed relationships, dead end jobs and unemployment, and being back in Surrey with my stepdad was like a renaissance, a new beginning, a new chapter, and I listened to all these great bands from sweetbabyjaysus and Evergreen just really bit hard, listening while drinking cheap booze and preparing to go out in Guildford and remembering the haunts of all those years back when I grew up before moving to London, and all those times when I knew so many people, made me nostalgic for the 1990s when things were simpler in my life and I had youth on my side and promise in my life, ah, the memories and the feels

The closest band I've come across that sounds similar to evergreen and the pine (GOAT) is "sore eyelids". Very great band and the influence is pretty obvious to me at least.
