If you like emotional, poetic sad lyrics you should check Make them suffer, specially two first albums. And check "Erase me" from them! Its such a beutiful emotional track. Other swedish band with awesome lyrics are Pain of Salvation or Wolverine. Hail to Sweden!:) they have so many amazing metal bands.

found that song 4 days ago. maybe it was 50 times i listened to it from that day on. and every single time i love it. im 40 i grow up with obituary,benediction,cannibal corpse. there was no end in the hardness of handmade music. i still hear that today but now 30 years later i also really like when great and powerfull music meets a strong and melodic voice. this guy is blessed by the devil that he has this voice and this great musicians that make this thing awesome. greetings from germany

I agree it´s hard to please a world but, in my humble opinion, bands don´t need to change. Wish Dream Theater were composing like Images and Words / Awake, Pain of Salvation like The Perfect Element / Remedy Lane or Haken like Aquarius and Vision, to mention a few. I understand that musical tastes change along the way but we can´t loose the essence. Chopin were always Chopin, Bach as Bach and Beethoven as Beethoven. Thanks for keeping Evergrey, Evergrey !
