Everlast MX2 Gold 5/50 Limited Edition comparison to MX1

Comparison review Everlast MX2 Gold 5/50 Limited Edition Vs MX1 both are 16oz lace up. Honestly I own AdiSpeed 500,Grants,Winning,Rivals,Reyes,Everlast powerlocks/protex3 and various fight gloves 8-10oz. And these are heavy in rotation right now and for the past few years..I’m a big fan of MX line especially when broken in. I like this glove for training but for sparring I have yet to use the new MX2 line and sparring a prefer the pillowy adispeed 500 or winning 16oz. MX1 would seem pretty hard for sparring but if your at a very experienced level then to each is own.
I am new to this review thing just wanted to give it a shot.. since I have been collecting since I started goin to a solid boxing gym since 2014 here in Seattle

How does the original mx feel in 12oz good for bags n pads or too tight?

12oz original prob my favorite cuz its light enough and padded enough to let ur hands go.. like the fighters I know it’s otw to fight glove 10oz-8oz to get ur timing better..now I want the MX2 12oz cuz the 16 to me is already fire..get it bro, depending ur hand size with wraps it’s a good Snug fit, or even a light wrap u can get some good work in as long as Velcroed tight or laced good, awesome on heavybag and perfect for double End/reflex bag, good crack, mitts will be just fine you’ll feel the crack

Yo. Does the mx 2 16 oz have enough protection? I have brittle hands and Ive tried many winning clones japanese gloves, I punched through them always too soft.

Snug at first I have 12 oz and 16oz for mx 2 , pound em for rounds on heavy bag/mitts/double end bag like a good 12-20rnds. Get em sweaty and shit and of course let em air out. And after few weeks could be one of the best gloves u ever owned and for longevity if u have like 5-10pairs rotate em so 1 pair don't get all the mileage and Take care of em. Let em air out and Vaseline punch surface and around glove once a week or find a good leather cleaner and clean intermittently . Don't put to much chemicals on leather let it age appropriately w rotation and maintain cleanliness . Everlast MX especially if u get a good batch and take care of em. Heavy in my rotation .. especially w sales take advantage 💵💵

Of course w proper technique you should be fine. I have winning as well I ain't gon front winning are more protective but Mexican gloves are Mexican gloves . I can tell u from owning gen 1 mx1 and mx 2 Mx2 are more protective but mx1 one of my favorite gloves of all time . And I collect many gloves . Grant, winning ,,Reyes , Adidas Rival, new sporting etc.

Thanks bro! I will get the mx2 since its -40 % for Black friday. Its just fit2box and csquared knock on everlast mx2 and also thee combat corporation. So I was hesitant to get these. But these are used by the pros alot!

Like I said beat em up rounds bags mitts sparring etc., maintenance and take care of em.(let em air out and vaseline or leather cleaner intermittently )And it will grow on you.. and everyone has different size hands to each is own experience . For me high in rotation especially for the price on sale and customer service and quality of glove I can't complain.. and it's nostalgic for me and a Mexican made glove of some sort and I see the pros use em. So it's a win win situation 🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾🔥🔥
