A review without you showing us how you get busy on that thing? So many reviews with people just talking about it and not punching it. 😐

I'm having trouble adjusting the height. How do you easily adjust it?

The inner cylinder has prongs which jut inward and hook into the grooves on the pole. It actually can't go onto the pole unless it's hooked into there. The outer cylinder, the bag, isn't exactly glued to the inner cylinder; so even when it's hooked in, you can't tell and you'll still be sliding the bag around. It's just guesswork that you have to get used to, but you can get a better idea of it if you just take it apart.

Looks pretty flimsy, and wouldnt handle proper full powered strikes, for very long. Ideal for boxercise type cardio work outs., or Kung fu punches. Thanks for the review, it definitely helped me to decide not to buy one.

Would be ideal if we could see how it takes soft punches vs solid punches. Talking about it doesnt show much of what it can do.

I love Canadian Tire and look they even made a video on the bag I use in my videos! I got a whole set of videos training on this bag and it may give you an idea of what it looks like in hard core action over a year. It is a great bag but the problem is that the plastic pieces to adjust it that also on the inside that holds it together breaks easy. Mine broke the first day I got it and all my videos have been of me hitting it broken, and man, that is frustrating and just ruins the quality, but the bag has lasted with some adjustments. The bag part that is foam and you hit is pretty good, but just does not sit on the base well, and you will see nearly every home review showing how it breaks usually on the first week, and that is what truly defeats the quality of a item that otherwise would be amazing. I want to load the foam part you hit on a wavemaster frame and then it will be better than both! These bags when well held will keep up with everything you do in, but when you do what I do like most martial artist that focus on combat.. it may not hold up to well and will instead just survive if some custom adjustments are made. I hope my comment helped. Nice video Canadian tire.

Probably Ok for Kung fu type punching, but how would it go with actual power shots like boxing ? It looks like you would tear it apart pretty quickly if you used it like a heavy bag ? This would be more for technique or kids yeah?
