Everlasting God was written by Brenton Brown and Ken Riley. It was released on 17 February 2006, as part of his first solo album. Other Christian artists like Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp and Lincoln Brewster also recorded this track, whose version topped the US CCM chart. - Source Wikipedia.

If we devide, satan will conquer. Do we all believe that Jesus is THE Son of God and that He died for our sins and when we accept Him as Savior and believe to live as He did through Him by the Holy Spirit we are saved? That's what we REALLY should know we believe as Brothers and Sisters in Christ!

If anyone was around in Cape Town when Brenton Brown lead worship at His People Church, you may know about Penguins of Africa as well. If so, does anyone know what happened to them and if their CD's are still available. I had a cassette tape of theirs (ok, that's really dating me and them) and it got jammed in a car cassette player and that is a great tragedy, I really wish I could replace it!

Ran out of space xD. The important thing about making MORAL judgments is that we do it with humility and be loving in our attitudes. If we are going to judge others, let's do it with the intention of encouraging others toward the right direction.

A lot of the false-christians try to use the thief on the cross to justify their disobedience but the thief died some time before Acts 2:38 was even preached. Don't forget what God has promised for all of you who refuse to obey the Gospel regardless of your excuses or misunderstanding. 2Thes 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

We all know that those who do not believe in God's redemptive power will not go to heaven, that much is pretty obvious to everyone. Guys, judging is not "bad" at all. I know Jesus said "Do not judge, or you too will be judged", but he then says in the following chapter "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them." I think winterband is following by this verse.

Hey...I saw your comment, and it made me think...how many types of christians are there...and I mean real christians, not the ones that say or the religion, I am talking about a belief and a relationship with God, that's the only type...And it does matter how you live, because God wants us to go and spread His word, and if we are like the world, sinning and doing drugs or IDK all that stuff, God doesn't like that, and wants us to repent of our sins, and live a life for Him, not a worldly life...

@ancianodeacon733211 жыл бұрын
What people don't understand is that the Pharisees didn't keep the commandments but instead observed the Talmud which was written in Babylon. It's why He griped at them for honoring tradition over the commandments. The church obeys no commands of YHVH, blessed be He, or of Yehoshua. How is it they think they are attached to One they don't obey? Able brought what YHVH said to bring. Cain thought to bring what He wanted to bring. The modern church is Cain, not Able for they do not obey.

Because Acts 2:38 is the Bible plan of salvation and the only way to actually be saved from hell. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

How come the Jews who were the original "God's people" wear a hat when they pray? I have often wondered why wearing a hat is such an issue in church, yet we can wear shoes which Moses was commanded to remove when he came before God's presence at the burning bush!!! Is it a cultural superimposition on what's supposed to be reverence to God? Or is it not?

Do we then toss out some of the Biblical guidelines of modesty, non-wordliness, and what is appropriate? Of course, we can easily be ensnared in legalism, as the Galatians did, and then we "fall from grace". But, what about 1st Cor. 11:1-16, it would seem very legalistic in those verses, describing head coverings, and haircuts, would it not? But it is Scripture. Do we toss it out because it is "legalistic"? Some of the commands could pertain to culture, but then should THEY call it legalism?

@paulbefc Like you, I'm not hating, but I do have to say that there are no legitimate scholars of the period who seriously doubt that Jesus was historical. Even the Jesus Seminar "scholars," who are actually fringe scholars, recognize this. Aside from the New Testament, there are 10 non-Christian sources that mention Jesus within 150 years of his life. By contrast, there are 9 sources that mention Tiberius Caesar within 150 years of his reign. Jesus is one of the best-attested ancient figures.

Wow, that is some kind of ignorance there, but I guess that's the way with false-christians. Jesus called deceiving devils quite a few names. Matt 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Too much leglsisim in the Church wehen it comes to Hats. I mean take your hat when you pray but outside of that I have no problem with it. Remember Jesus looks at the heart not the clothing. The Church gets too leaglisitic. Thats why the youuth don't come in the doors of the Churches.Time to move on people. Move foward
