Dave recorded all the drums on their first 2 albums (except for the song doll). Taylor Hawkins wasn’t in the band until the 3rd album. Most of their hits drum parts were recorded by Dave like everlong, my hero, monkey wrench, big me, and I’ll stick around

Yeah, but Taylor doesn't play drums on Everlong, it's actually just Grohl himself, he didn't like William Goldsmith's playing, so he just played the drums himself. Taylor came along on their third album, There Is Nothing Left to Lose (1999).
