Sehr romantisch.❤ Einfach wunderbar. Keiner konnte so schön romantisch singen, wie diese beiden wunderschönen Jungen's.😊

When I feel downhearted When I'm feeling blue When I'm low and lonely Who do I turn to? It's you, always it's you When I'm dreaming daydreams Who comes into view? Who shares all my daydreams Who makes them come true? It's you, always it's you When I feel like smiling You're the reason why If I ever lost you I'd cry and cry Oh, hold me close my true love Kiss me tenderly There is only one love One alone for me It's you, always it's you Always it's you

Well... I'm just gonna say, there was something so virginal in their harmonies something pure and sweet, clear like a bell ringing in the still of the night... my heart hurts that I will never have the opportunity to tell them what their music has meant to me over the years and thank them for the pure Joy they gave so many. R.I.H. Phil and Don Soundtrack of my youth 🎼🖤

Years ago when I used to record cassette tapes of my favorite songs for friends and clients, whenever I recorded an Everly Brothers set, I always concluded it with this gem written by Felice & Boudleaux Bryant. In their own words: "There's never been a purer sound, before or since."

My sister took on the name LaPointe, from our father's side of the family. Great French name! Great song, also!

The separation between the pitch of their voices was phenomenal in this recording, perhaps moreso than any of their others, especially beginning at 1:18. I sit in kind of a daze after listening to this song numerous times in succession, trying to process what I have just heard. A performance for the ages. If they had made only this one recording, the world at large would still always know who the Everly Brothers were.

Milton Moore , I believe the separation at 1:18 is the bridge of the song. It is truly exquisite!

I just returned to see if you had listened yet, and while reading through the comments again, only listened to the song another 7 or 8 times! The separation between the pitch of their voices was phenomenal in this recording, perhaps moreso than any of their others. (I just placed part of this comment into a new comment to be found above.)

Just love this - yeh it’s corny now but still puts a knot in the stomach when I hear it - God rest poor Phil he was such a lovely guy and tremendous talent
@miltonmoore52947 жыл бұрын
This is not corny. That hillbillyish "Hee-Haw" TV show and all that country bumpkin cornpone music and humor is what corny is. This song is the very antithesis of corny! You should look up the definition of corny in the dictionary. No offence intended. Just the truth. Peace.😊
