I've must have seen every video available that teaches Evernote because the one thing that has had me confused, until I saw this Video, was the use of Tags. I now understand it. Many thanks. Rollei.

I am discovering more and more how powerful evernote is, Thanks @Scott for sharing your knowledge and expertise. We decided to go paperless here and have settled on Evernote for that purpose. I do sales and support in my business and have been thinking for a while about how to ditch crm and helpdesk - your video has given me lots of ideas on how to achieve this, and also ways that I can tweak what I have started doing in evernote already. - Thanks!

You are welcome James! I am so glad you are enjoying the videos! Don't forget to watch the sales prospecting video. It takes this entire concept to the next level!

Hey Scott! I am a student and I find that the use of Evernote will collect everything in one place, be it course documents, specific lectures or notes that I can take on the fly. You making these vidoes lets me visualize how I could use Evernote much, much easier than me trying to figure it out by myself. Also, the Daily Fill video was great, and something that I'll try to make a routine out of. Thank you for taking your time to make those videos! You have a great day!

You are just awesome. Thanks for doing these and please keep doing them. You are very helpful. I almost got rid of Evernote and decided, after watching you, that I will buy the premium package. Evernote should give you affiliate sales - if they do, I will go through your link.

Hi, Good informative Video.... Thanks. But just one thing i want to know is "Difference between 'Notebook' & 'Notebook Stack'" Which one i should prefer?
@EvernoteScott10 жыл бұрын
Notebook is a single notebook. The Notebook Stack is a "Stack" of notebooks. Please let me know if that isn't clear.

Here again, perhaps this should be one of your first videos. Explains the reasons why I would want to use it very well. One concern...I deleted Evernote after having it for about a year because I didn't understand the "sync" feature. I found that my Evernote history had recorded my login information. So I panicked, erased the history and deleted Evernote. Still unsure about the "sync" feature.

Hi there. Thanks for a splendid video. Would be good to have a folder for each company and stack it - the problem is that if you want to share it with your peers (evernote business) you can not do so with stacked notebooks. Looks like you will end up with creating notes with company name in the topic as then you will be able to share it with other users if required. Unless you have a different idea. Take care
@EvernoteScott10 жыл бұрын
You are welcome Aleks! I agree...the inability to share stacked notebooks is frustrating. It seems like you are thinking on the correct path!

Thanks for these videos!! I am a mortgage professional dealing with hundred of clients per week from all different referral sources. Some are from realtor groups, individual realtors, some are online referrals through a squeeze page, some are just random from google searches. How would you suggest these using notebooks? I also have short to long drawn out conversations with each client that can span from weeks to months or even years.

Hi, thanks for your videos. I'm trying to figure out if it makes more sense to have a folder for each customer in a business, or to have a tag for each customer and not worry about creating folders? So more folders/fewer tags; fewer tags/more folders. Do you have any advice on which way is better? Part of me thinks it's a good idea to get away from hierarchal systems, and use tags instead. Basically to just dump everything into one related folder (say your company name) and then wherever you would normally want to create a folder, just create a tag and assign the note accordingly. Which way do you think works best? I just started using evernote and I'm trying to figure out how to set up my business the best way. Should I copy the folder style of my Windows machine or just use tags, or some combination? Thanks!
@EvernoteScott10 жыл бұрын
The best answer is "It Depends." At the end of the day, you will be using the system. You have to think about how you plan on using it for you, so that it works best for what you need it to do. Depending on how your brain works and thinks, will depend on how you set it up. There is no right or wrong way to do it. The videos I have on the channel are a guide to get you thinking about setting it up in a way that is best for you. Let me know what you think!

Hey man, how would you organize for a recruitment company with clients and candidate on a large scale talking to 30 clients a day and 50 candidates a day. ?
@adambland11108 жыл бұрын
I like the idea of tracking contact with prospects/clients/associates, etc., but I would not recommend putting action items in the notes unless it is for retrospective review or linking them with specific points in the relationship. I would instead create a separate note for the action item so that you can manage your immediate workflow more efficiently (all action items in one place) and then tag it. If there is a way to link notes to other notes, this would be a great opportunity to use that feature.

Thanks for sharing. I'm using the Secret Weapon (GTD+EN) method and it seems natural for me to extend EN as a CRM. I need to capture meeting and call notes from customer interactions but I also have some email history that I want to be able to reference. Have you already covered an approach to this in another video?

I appreciate your videos, but I have a few suggestions: 1. Please do not turn on the key stroke sound; it is very annoying 2. Limit your video to one topic: You spend 7 min referring to info left out from a previous video. I selected this CRM video because I wanted that topic only, but I have no way of knowing when you are going to start with the CRM. I have noted this problem with other videos of yours that I have watched.
