This video reminds me so much why I do not play eq2. 120 action slots and all but maybe one were used is way too many. I remember doing all the quests and the next zone was 20+ levels over me with no where left to go. I am playing EQ1 Live and there are people every where and I did not realize EQ2 was still around.

There is a bit of a learning curve, you don't actually need that many slots, if you keep your macro tight and add a few hot buttons you can keep the bars down. I keep bars up because i have added things over the years and I know I will eventually need all of the slots. But that is for a fully fleshed out character. At this point for a new character you could get away with a bar or 2 and just have a macro

Antizark your video tutorial is the best I have ever viewed to date. Your tutorial was so effective because your explanations were concise and directly to the point defining stats etc... teaching basic character and game functions. I have viewed other game tutorials that only a programmer would understand which left me more confused and frustrated than before I viewed it. You are a wonderful teacher. I have a better understanding of the game and character functions than ever before because of you. Thank you for all of the time you spend in producing quality video tutorials and game updates. Interesting video, but this was way too much information for me. It would have been really helpful for me to be given much more concise recommendations, especially for the classes. It felt like I was being told how to play the game in its entirety, when I'm really just trying to get into my first steps of the game. I've played several other MMORPG's a lot, but have only put a handful of hours into EQ2, so I have a solid basis of standard MMORPG mechanics, but I'm by no means an expert. Really great work, but it feels much more like an overview of EQ2 rather than a beginner's guide.

The sad reality, is that that was the actually the basics. the rest of the game is so much more complicated.
