Doing good man thanks! Really do miss eq2 sadly daybreak has totally destroyed the eq franchise beyond repair. Currently playing World of warcraft until something better comes along. Might check out devnoobs new project though there is an eq2 pvp emulator in the works.

This video was from 2007 game has changed alot since then, @featherspell The zombie attack pet was the former version of tainted sacrament line of spells. The pet was more like a minor dot and was pretty useless. Sacrament now is a pb-aoe disease nuke with a large threat increase. They replaced the skelly pet some time ago.

as of december, 2009, i have begun playing everquest 2 again. Gorram is currently level 44 and shelved. I am playing my bruiser, Bamor, and thinking about rolling something diff, maybe a conj or necro. To all those saying this class is gimp, 2 years ago sk was meh and not op like it is today.

Video was made using fraps registered version (30$) and windows movie maker, free with windows xp sp2. Fraps takes raw footage and saves them to a file on your drive. You than use a video editing software (such as windows movie maker) to format it into a video, add music, ect. Though I no longer play everquest 2 (back in EVE online) my sk was using full mastercrafted gear, and was the 20 something aas into the INT line. 4 4 8, with rest going towards reaver.

sickest pvp i ever had was a group of all wardens cuz we nvr died and thorns did all the work and a group of all rangers was fun too cuz of all the range but a group of all sk with harms touch up is cool too

@Melink0 thanks ill consider it. Iv been dabbling in some random mmos like aion and mortal but not really attached to anything yet. I felt that when SOE catered to the carebear bluebie whiners they completely destroyed most of the game. It seems nagafan went down hill when they killed level locking. During Kingdom of Sky and the Echos of Faydwer expansion IMO was the best time in the game, as far as pvp mechanics and server pop on nagafan imo.

Tbh level locking was pretty unfair, especially when someone with 5 alts came camped an overland zoning point. That said there were plenty of ways to overcome this, but SoE took the easy and lazy way out. Instead, maybe increasing of guard patrol around commonlands/antonica. I remember when PVP first came out, Antonica was literally naked, compared to Commonlands that had the Crossroads and plenty of guards. Evil players had the advantage when it came to invading sections of Qeynos.

Eq2players.... did they ever fix this game? I returned breifly for a welcome back event when sentinals fate came out but the pvp server was up in arms because they broke the entire pvp system when they implemented battlegrounds and changed the resist and critical mitigation stuff. It was so bad I just quit never came back. The devs were "working on it", and alot of the people i knew ingame were quitting. Did they ever turn the failboat around?

This was taken back in the days of level locking and t2 pvp. Soe of course killed level locking because too many care bears whined that it wasn't fair to start on a PVP server and fight master crafted and adept'3 out twinks. So instead of adapting and working for it like real players the bears then cry on forums until soe nerfs the games only populated pvp server. Pretty typical for the generation of WOW mmo ers raised on instanced bgs and "fair fights" Population had went down alot since...

Depends, I always liked EQ2 way more than WOW, both aesthetically and mechanically (gameplay). I much prefer EQ2 pvp system than Wows, though thats not saying alot considering both games are focused more on PVE, with PVP as an add on to please that market segment. As for raiding.-.. couldn't tell you, iv never been into raids, it isnt my thing...

lol my zerker owned a SK 3 times in duel - and i am gladiator- , disease resist approx70% - and poor mans ass was hangin thin - stuns ftw- only time he nearly whacked me - 3200 disease damage tru his ass death touch ! but it was fun as hell - and yes i do have a sk as well :D - ppl i loose to= Furys. dunno wtf to do with em lol - any hints welcome

@theflea39 yeah there is now. they took away the best of it... ranks. now if you log off you loose it. it sucks. use to be anyman for them selves. now reds cant get ganked by greys. they took away a hotspot. DLW by making it a city. its kinda ruined :(4 this video shows some of the fun

Lmao, sk's do rule, you can see that, (no offence) but you provally have crappy armor and your spells do almost no damage, i have a level 39 sk that has won every single 1v1, and most 2v1 or bigger

Could anyone give me a little info on it? What is the max level? How is the PvP? How is endgame? How long does it usually take to hit top level? How is the population? thanks
