Personally, I can't wait for Oakwynd to arrive... This time around I want to obsessively play a Cleric, I wanna be your _"Camp Mum"_ taking care of the booboos and such! Played a lot of more melee-oriented classes on Mischief and Yelinak, I want the _"Hey, let's sit down and chill class this time around"_ ! _Edit:_ The Ranger is gonna be the popular Mob Stealer from Velious onward, a Blessed Faydark Thunderbolt and a 150Yrd. crap arrow and everything you can see you can hit! *That is gonna be hell!*

Cleric is pretty fun on TLP. You get to see and do a lot of things that can be harder to get into.

I was thinking necro+dru too; for the solo ability and because I will only be able to play casually the first few weeks of release. I am also considering necro/bard, mage/bard or enc/dru (cle?)

Necro + Bard in classic is easily the best farming combo. Necro being the king of outdoor solo play, and bard to keep mana/regen/selo going is incredibly efficient. I would do that but really prefer the alt bonuses on this server so sadly I'll just stick to jboots and solo play probably.

i have never done a TLP befor, been playing live off and on since 99. i am huge altoholic this is the first TLP that honestly leans into my Alt addiction and has my intrest im definatly going to create a toon and check out the other features the locking has me very worried its going to be a broken mess

I also played mischief with Nox Terrorem and 100% we played for the loot. Killing grummus getting time loot for all our alts and our guild allowed 2 mains. Thats what kept me playing mischief hardcore

I'll fire up a character there just to see how the FTE (tagging) system works, but do not intend to play there. Mischief is my jam and just hitting the content that I've been dying to play.

Playing ONE toon, and likely a Necro. It's the one class I've never really played. I know I will want to box, but I'll avoid it as long as possible.

think ill run tried true trio chanter/druid/mage not sure how hard ill actually play i still think the server will be kinda janky but who knows they may make it work right and it would be interesting

Nice, do you main the Enchanter in that setup?

@hammackj yeah drive the chanter and main it for raids and whatnot. I keep 2 small wireless number pads next to my mouse hand to cast with others 2 tools works treallyy well. The trio has more or less everything you need. Snare,heal,root,cc,haste,mana regen , decent slow, decent buffs. Ports list goes on. If I had to pick one flaw it would be the less than ideal heals from druid. I'm actually spoiled with that trio it's fun but on the flips side no relaxing when charming.. on the rare occasion your killing some above dangerous mobs just use the earth pet on mage incase of charm break that way it's certain to hold one in place. I try to always keep charmed mob snared as well. Takes some of the stress out of charm breaks.... set the druid off to the side of chanter and when pet breaks refresh tash press key for druid to target and snare broken pet. Broken charm will run to druid snared in turn you ping pong the mob back in control without to much fuss. I hope this tlp turns out OK I'm itching to get back into eq I skipped out on last round of tlp last year.

Six hot bars... oh I see, you're one of those kinds of people. Let's be real. Oh-ick-wynd is pretty much dedicated to the 2+ hotbar people. You're clearly going to play on Oakwynd. 1 hotbar people should look elsewhere. Though, now that I think about it, maybe, they would be a good fit after all. Hmmm. Any who, I'll be there for the hi-jinx and looking forward to memorable moments.

Fun duo, and the snare from druid is better than necro. Pets can tank with undead slow. Fun times!!

I personally like the server theme and as an altoholic it'll be perfect for me. Darkelf Necro/Enchanter is probably the best start and I'm still a bit undecided but leaning towards Necro for early plat/krono farm at Hill giants. I'm honestly thinking of going Human though for the first time and just buying some ultravision store item if one is available, as I've never played one and starting in Freeport is easily the most central start on a TLP. Close to commons, unrest, guk, rathe mountains, etc...

Dark elf mask gives UV and you can get it at 34ish solo or group.
