4:48 The weights are from SmallRig, not iRig. For a pocket camera, cell phone or GoPro, 200gr is enough to stabilize the rover. Less jitter, yet not "jitterless".

Great video. A challenge is to convert this to a more rugged carrier by equipping it with larger wheels to go over uneven surfaces to take utilitarian video rather than just high quality professional video.

Great tip on adding weight to the smartphone to smooth it it. I just got this and my iPhone X seems really jittery unless I mount my gimbal to the dolly but I'm going to try adding mass.

2 questions, would this sit and work on a regular slider like the Yelangu, which has open sections on the bottom, also is the distance adjustable between the side with 2 wheels and 1? Thanks

Other than shooting close ups of food or products, what else could this be used to shoot. Cause it doesn’t seem like you can take this out in nature and use it.
@PeterAlanJohnson Жыл бұрын
You can take a slider rail and use it on that (or make your own- mine cost me £12 and a piece of scrap wood)

Question... can you use stabilization in post to smooth out any bumps that might happen on a slightly un-smooth surface? Davinci Resolve has a pretty good stabilization feature (with a little cropping). Any idea if that would help?
