​@@lucaschapman2188Yeah, I don't think any insults towards Watford/Burnley were intended, but I can see how it can come off as entitled. It's more a case of feeling that a club which has been successful - even if those times continue to recede into the distance - sees itself. Another 25 years of winning nothing and maybe the transformation into an uncompetitive club will be completed, and irrevocable as there'll be few left to remember Everton winning silverware. As a fan, I still see no reason why we should be lagging so far behind the likes of Villa etc, it's hard to take tbh, even if I know exactly why we are where we are now. Comments like the one you responded to, they see the likes of Burnley - where Dyche was lionised - as clubs where the height of ambition is to avoid relegation. No slight on those teams, it's just a matter of size, finances etc. The idea that our manager talks about us in those terms is not acceptable.

Sean Dyche needs to go. It’s as simple as that. Everton can’t keep pretending that scraping by every season is good enough for this club. We’re Everton, not some team that should be happy just to survive, and yet here we are, stuck in the same relegation mess year after year. Dyche hasn’t shown he’s the man to pull us out of this cycle-if anything, he’s keeping us stuck in it. First off, let’s talk about the football. It’s dreadful. Week in, week out, it’s the same defensive, negative setup. I get that sometimes you need to grind out results, but where’s the ambition? Where’s the drive to actually take control of games? Teams don’t fear coming to Goodison anymore, and that says everything. We’re supposed to be a club that plays with pride and passion, but under Dyche, we look scared to even try and win. And then there’s the results. We’re still hovering near the bottom of the table. What’s changed since last season? Nothing. It’s one thing to keep us up last year-that was the bare minimum. But now, with a full preseason and his players, we’re still in the same position. At what point do we admit that Dyche doesn’t have the answers? He’s not building anything; he’s just firefighting. The squad isn’t brilliant, but it’s not as bad as Dyche makes it look. There’s no creativity, no fluidity, and no sense of a plan. If anything, Dyche is holding this team back by sticking to his rigid, outdated style. This isn’t Burnley, and we shouldn’t be playing like them. Most of all, though, I’m sick of the lack of progress. Everton have been a shambles off the pitch for years, and Dyche was supposed to bring stability. But stability doesn’t just mean surviving relegation-it means moving forward. Where’s the progression? Where’s the hope? It’s just more of the same mediocrity, and we deserve better. Everton need a manager with ambition, someone who can inspire the players and the fans. Dyche isn’t that man. He’s had his chance, and it’s clear he’s not taking us anywhere. If the board care about this club-and that’s a big if-they’ll act now and find someone who can actually take us forward. Because if we keep going like this, it’s only a matter of time before we’re playing Championship football.

He is no manager in my opinion, managers do things, improves players, physically and mentality, makes changes in game and off the pitch, Dyche just turns up, plays bootball and makes the same subs every week, getting same grim results every week 🤦‍♂️

17th should NEVER be acceptable for this football club as you & Ped have been saying we should shake things up & forget oh it's OK staying up, get to the new stadium that is BS we are better than we are showing, I know we're not amazing & our lack of goals has always, well certainly recently been our achilles heel. I just hope there is a plan in place for when the new owners come in. It's so frustrating because yes Brentford are a decent side but they have been awful away from home & we should be winning games like this.

In nearly 25 years I’ve never enjoyed going to Goodison less. It’s utterly miserable. Can’t get motivated by takeovers or the stadium when what we see on the pitch is just terrible. We look defeated from the kick off, the players look as anxious as the fans are. Woeful 🙁

Dyche selection starts us off on the wrong foot, regardless! Doucoure is loose in midfield and will always make a mistake. Ghana was better but still loose with the ball. The final third has been atrocious for a long time; Dyche has yet to do anything to rectify that! McNeil is so one-footed that it is ridiculous and contributes to the team's imbalance. When he is in his natural balance/position, he is effective, but his good moments are outweighed by the moments his Achilles heel is prominent. The definition of insanity again comes into play; the corners were poor, overhit and predictable! As an opposition manager, you would have to be extremely unlucky. As long as your defensive line is solid, you will unlikely concede against the Dyche mentality and tactics!

This manager just has not got a clue. The sooner he's gone the better but I feel he'll be here till his contract expires, due to financial constraints . Team is pretty piss poor but the manager is even worse. I hope if the purchase goes through & the new owners come in they make sweeping changes on & off the pitch. It's reasonable to say they must be watching from the wings & can't be happy with the Shite they are witnessing.

Dyche seems all about the clean sheet now. He doesn't seem to want to score goals, not at the potential expense of a clean sheet anyway. He , and players, don't seem interested in winning games atm. It's just safe boring stuff. That said, I think the Beto header near end was a good chance in this league. I think if Dom or Broja get that chance they hit the target and possibly score. It was a poor header. Ped said it best, the ball hit him in the face.

17th to me Baz is a pathetic and embarrassing target!. We should be comfortably higher than that. our supporters deserve alot better than this rubbish that we're being fed every game!. This is meant to be entertaining, exciting a really enjoyable hobby!. It's actually depressing watching us!. Our current manager is the most negative manager in premier League history and we've got certain players in our team/squad that wouldn't be anywhere near our club if the club had been run correctly over recent years!. The atmospheric energy is sapping from Goodison Park, especially the Street and Park End. What a sad exit for this magnificent historical ground! In the 1878s, it was an impossible job. Once the game starts and the flags are laid to rest, they cannot influence anything! It may be time to allow the youth into the home end! The old casuals may need to retire, enabling the youth to congregate. It does appear that the season ticket holders in the home end are holding back the youth, as Dyche does; the move to the new stadium allows a younger, hungrier and aggressive generation to create the atmosphere. Assuming they exist in today's world!
