Merry Christmas and thank you so much for the effort every day during Advent. Our daughter (major Friends fan) loved these so much - she watched every one at least twice! We felt that scoring roulette in the final overview points was rather unbalanced. We felt there should have been a mini doll of the year section to give Friends some deserved points having been excluded from the minifig round *and* marked down negatively for some awesome gifts. The tool racks should have featured more there. The Friends advent calendar 2022 is the only calendar to offer 100% items that could go straight into a Lego Friends display with none of this micro-scale shenanigans. Anyway - you said from the start that Friends would never prosper and you have been consistent! Thank you, Merry Christmas, and all the best for 2023! 🎅

This years advent calendar for Starwars and marvel was great, marvel had a rough week but still manage to beat friends, the Harry Potter calendar surprised me with its amazing builds and ofc city was awesome with its animals snd decorations

The Order: Friends 5 points( UNIQUE minifigure), Star Wars 4 points, Marvel 3 points, City 3(2+1) points( wonderful but repetitive) and Harry Potter 1 point. I do NOT mess up with a FAIR classification so the FINAL STANDINGS are: STAR WARS 85 POINTS, CITY 83 POINTS, FRIENDS 80 POINTS, HARRY POTTER 79 POINTS AND MARVEL 56 POINTS.

I think the Voldemort and Neville figures were fantastic. And the Santa gonk droid was amazing. And my personal favorite gift of the year is that little prison droid. And I think the rocket sleigh was both adorable and awesome. But overall, the rest of the year was kind of just white noise (except maybe a few others like the cat piano) but I can't wait to see what is in store next year, I'm really crossing my fingers for a Santa boba fett

Nothing says Christmas like Drax the Destroyer, right? At least he is wearing a proper jumper and yeah, that looks like a Mr. Hankey impersonation of a sound activated plant knit into it. Okay City, we feel your holiday vibe. Now Potter, really? Look, I'm happy to see Neville and get the reference but no tree this year, and I too am now craving a hoodie cardigan! That is a badass sword though and now I can't un-think that shirtless pic of Matthew, thank you very much Jeremy. In addition to wanting to know where the succubi sisterhood obtained their hoard of gold, I want to know what type of deviant hormones and vitamins they gave that mini-doll to turn it into a brush-bedecked boggart!? The final showdown and bonus points round had me cheering for Potter. It is shocking that Star Wars won after all those mini-vessels. I still maintain that if they had a way to string them up as a mobile it would be epic! Fair judging Jeremy, this was so much fun and I thank you for creating a now December high-priority holiday habit! We adore you for putting all of this work into making us giggle. It is my favorite end-of-year bonus!

The fantastic thing is, how often scoring was proclaimed with wrong scores. Until now, it always came out right finally. But not today. Just before extra special bonus points it was 61 for Guardians, 70 for both City and friends, 85 for Potter, 86 for Star Wars. Completely correct so far. But then, at the end, Friends should have had 69 and City 85. But by some miracle the given points added up to 67 and 87 instead. No idea where these two points were switched. Thank God, it didn't change the ranking ;-)

I love watching this series every year, so it’s crazy to know that this series is already over! But I can definitely agree with the final scores as Star Wars and Harry Potter are my 2 favorites this year! Star Wars because me and my family have been doing that one since 2013, and Harry Potter because it has a cool concept with the items! But with all that aside, now that the 2022 series is over, I want to take a few seconds to say “Merry Christmas! May your holiday season be filled with joy and laughter! Oh I am so sad that HP did not win. They had such a lead all the time. To bad that the multiple day category did them in. I think it is better to have single day gifts. It would have been nice to see all the gifts in one shot. I love the non festive mini figures. This way I can put them in my collection on display. You used to do that and I thought it was good. Maybe their is just not enough time in the video now that there are so many advent calendars. Anyway so much sadness that HP did not win. Now for the important part.
