So hype I found the 510 wagon at a 711 for like $4 Canadian I've never seen hotwheels at a 711 before so I decided to have a look and sure enough the super was just chilling there it was the most I've ever spent on a hotwheels at the store but it was definitely worth it 😁👍 (typically I buy my hotwheels at a Walmart for $1.25)

Found the pink Datsun from the very back of the store shelf. Damn it felt awesome to find that. Used to collect them as a kid and now as an adult started collecting them again (trying to find the rare ones). As a kid I had no idea there were rare hot wheels. I have the old hot wheels as well.

Great video. Those are some nice cars. I actually scored a few on the pegs. I won't pay more than10 dollars for a STH and that's if I really want it like a Gasser or that 57 Chevy from a few years back. TBH I preferred a lot of the 2023 Regular TH's this year like the Time Shifter, Surf Crate, Mad Fast or even some of the mainlines like the Greenwood Corvette and Rodger Dodger. As for the hype cars I really do like the Datsun 510 this year. Normally I'm not the biggest fan of the car, but I do like it in that pink shade. Still wouldn't pay no $160 for it. The best thing I ever did was learn how to customize my own STHs.

I found two '68 Corvette Gas Monkey Garage last night along with two treasure hunts, walked thru the door just after 5 or 6 cases dropped, old cases, I've been picking this store for 5 years, have never gotten a STH, most TH's are the crappy ones, I think a collector works in the story, must of been off last night when those cases dropper, LOL, my lucky day, they never drop cases at night, If I get to the store early on shipment day, they let me put the case on the shelf at the Dollar Tree, two weeks ago I found the Porsche 935 STH, the store I get most of TH at. Worse year for picking mainlines, but my best year for finding TH and STH. Happy Picking

I tend to agree that the Porsche 935 is very nice, it is also my favorite from this year, but I still haven't seen it in stores, nor the main line version... it was not a good year for hunting Hot Wheels in stores.

@@164thscaleracing I also had a terrible 2023. Honestly feels like the workers are just scalping all the TH/STH's before they hit the pegs. I'm sure they needed it to supplement their income last year with inflation hitting record highs.

That Porsche mainline is a peg warmer in my country they're everywhere but I also think the cars in boxes are being unevenly filled/distributed because I've opened a few and sometimes there was none of a certain car or there would be like 4-5... and seeing certain cities get heaps and others none. There was a tiny handful (like maybe 30) of the tt set with the LBWK, Gulf &.... Mad Mike's mad lab rx3 in the whole country which is pretty 💩 considering he lives here! I'm a mazda collector so I'm pretty salty about that lol

They are at usually every grocery store, Walgreens, CVS, Walmart, Target, hobby, Department...just any store you go in and look around the entire store. It's the same as finding a magazine or candy in all of these places. They could be put up anywhere in the store! From tiny tracks to huge displays. Best of luck hunting!

There are identical TH and non-TH Volvo 940 wagons. I picked up 2 non-TH wagons from the store. They do have some minor differences. In this video the Volvo has a full white plastic front wheel and the rear tire has tread. Mine have a painted white front wheel and no tread on the rear.
