Thanks for the series and all of the hard work. I am not sure the bonus points at the end is really necessary - maybe for overall calendar aesthetics / story. It seems to favour those calendars with loads of filler - exactly what gets penalised throughout the days leading to the 24th only to get rewarded at the end. It’s sort of contradictory imho.

Actually really happy with Lego city winning it this year, they were my favourite theme when I was younger. Also Jeremy that hammy jumpscare in the friends calendar was really well done. I very much enjoyed the Return of the Jedi theme and playability and there were more days that worked together. But it's all in fun.

I can't believe we've come to the end of Advent videos with you Jeremy. I will have to watch them all again! Though my Potter calendar had its moments, it was quite obvious what today was going to bring just like we knew with Star Wars and had strong hunches about the others as we went along. Agreed on wishing for a Father Christmas Hagrid. We can dream. I need to dig around in my spare parts to see if I can find a better broom. If not I'll have to put this little snow man guy to work cleaning out the garage. OMG the Hammy explosion! You are hilarious Jeremy! Pickle is cute and festive. It appears your Ewok has attempted the cinnamon challenge Jeremy 😅 You left out the HP fireplace for the final setup, which goes between doors 7 and 17. You can see that Lego provided a chimney at the Three Broomsticks. Hammy would look great on top of the Avengers tree! Brilliant work man! I was regretting the category for complete calendar when still editing the video at midnight and there were definitely a couple of gifts that did not make it. 120 is a lot to wrangle! But according to my tyke who missed out on LEGO Star Wars advent last year , LEGO Star Wars advent 2023 is the top this year as I connected with bricklink and ordered last years Darth Vader with red Christmas sweater and light saber included and i managed to insert the wonderful Darth Vader piece into tykes 2023 LEGO Star Wars advent and it fell into day 10 by chance tyke was very amused and happy to recieve Palpentine , Vader and and Ewok Christmas special minifigs! I dont think they would ever do a MC calendar. Would be difficult to come up with anything that isnt just another minifig or mob. I'm a bit surprised though that they havent made a Ninjago calendar yet. It is their own theme (no licence issues) and very popular, and there is a lot of possibe ideas for gifts, incliding figs, microbuilds,etc

One point huh? Not gonna lie, even biases aside, I would have put Harry Potter in second place in front of City simply because the builds have a more cohesive color pallot. Say, star wars day1 is a spaceship crash, and it's a Christmas themed journey to the Santa Wompah to go home on day24. There's an overall lack of creative cohesiveness with a calendar, and there's a bit of an injected hodgepodge of junk.

While Star Wars is my favorite overall Lego theme next to Harry Potter, they really don't do well with christmas. The figures are great, sure, but the builds are non festive, a real shame!
