UK vs the World was a crazy season…… My Top 4 would have been Blu, Pangina, Janey and Jimbo. It seems crazy to talk about why Mo, Juju and Baga didn’t win, because none of them should even have been in the final based on what they showed during the season.

Thank you both so much for your examination of Jinkx's AS7 win. Very loud portions of the fandom have been absolutely shitting on her lately and I don't think that's fair. Did she lose more lipsyncs than she won? Yes. Did she obliterate almost every challenge? Yes. Did Monet win that final lipsync? Yes. Did Jinkx still deserve the crown? Yes.

The reason people are upset is because the format was stated from the beginning, it's not about the number of wins you get as long as you make it to the top 4. From there, you have to win the lip syncs to win the crown. Then suddenly at the end they changed the rules, in an ADR snippet of Ru claiming that now it was based on the entire competition. It took away the purpose of the stars and the entire lip sync lalaparuza. Jinkx deserves absolutely none of the hate because the decision wasn't hers to make, but to say she deserved the crown with the rules they established is a little funny to me, considering Monet had 5 stars and also won the final lip sync.

The only people who should care about lip syncs on who is the best drag queen are people whose only exposure to drag is the show and have been forced fed the idea that lip sync is what all drag queens do that they kept repeating ad nauseam in the early seasons.

Jujubee would be first out. She was in the bottom like 4 times on Season 2, the bottom every challenge on All Stars 1 after episode one and then on UK vs World was in the bottom 3 episodes in a row. And Roxxxy Andrews gets soo much hate for being in the bottom on one of the hardest seasons lol

Which I think is GREAT for her. She overextended herself after AS2 and had that extended relapse, and she's doing so much better now by kinda not doing anything unless she has to. Her exact words, "I don't WANT to work anymore". She turned down lipsync assassin twice. She doesn't want to come back.

Mo had the same too except one Low instead of a Safe, and Jujubee had arguibly the worst with three bottom placements, one Safe and one win. Both Jimbo and Pangina had better track records - even at the time of their elimination because they got two wins each and Pangina has one more High.

The difference is that everytime Blu was safe she SHOULD have been high and whenever Baga was safe she was clear bottom/low material. Even the last bottom2 placement… anyone with eyes and ears know that Blu should have been in the top over Jujubee but they needed to give her the win. The placement this season were just… weird

Great cast, horrible execution. Hate to say it but pangina did it to herself. Baga was underwhelming most of the season. Blu served each week on the runway and in the challenges . She deserved a few more high placements and her only bottom was because whoever wasn't in the top was in the bottom

I feel like where they went wrong on All Stars 3 with the Jury vote twist is having them pick BOTH finalists. It should have been they choose one and THE Judges choose one. That would've made the twist less hated on and then it would've been Trixie and Shangela as the final two. Shangela then would've won rightfully so. I'm a huge Trixie fan, but Shangela slayed as everyone knows.

To me it’s just starting to feel like Mera doesn’t like Miz Cracker because in the few times that she has spoken about her on this channel it’s never with any amusement like she does with other Queens. To say that you would’ve had a Shea Jujubee double win when Miz Cracker dominated the entire season and the only thing that stopped her from winning was Shea’s storyline is kind of baffling to me 😂. I think Trixie was a deserving winner of AS3, she did very well the entire season with the exception of snatch game and there were other episodes were she easily could have been top 2 like the Bitchelor and the Kitty Girl challenge. Shangela also did very well but not so well that she was the only possible winner with Ben gone.

My only qualm with this take is Shangela went the entire time talking about how she was making allies in the competition-but then was the most likely to start stuff and play games. The other girls weren’t impressed with Shangela’s whole thing about the note nor her jerking both Trixie and ChiChi around during the Snatch Game elimination among other things. This might be a controversial take, but I think RuPaul anticipated a lot of backlash for crowning anyone other than Ben in AS3. Given how fond he is of Shangela, he didn't want her to take the brunt of it. Nor the S1 winner Bebe. Nor Kennedy who'd had a hard time with the fandom. This leaves Trixie -- an undeniable superstar in the real world, that could handle any backlash and continue making WOW a lot of money. (Yes we had the jury, but Ru and the producers knew damn well that Trixie would be voted by her competitors)

It’s really true though. Ben was almost clearly the winner of the season but she eliminated herself. They all knew that the finale would be soured because of Ben’s self elimination. It really makes sense considering that there’s really no other reason to have a jury besides using them to nominate Trixie and not Shangela. At the end of the day, if Shangela was crowned we’d still wish Ben won instead. At least this way if they had it to be soured let’s give that to the most resilient queen probably in drag race history

But I find it funny weird how Mera discredits Trixie’s win by saying “she didn’t do the best, and it wasn’t her season to win”, which is fair because she didn’t do the best and it felt more like Shangelas storyline, but skip to Kylie and Meras like “she just did so well and was so consistent every week, she could’ve won so many more if it was a top two”. For a big girl she never looks busted on the runway though and she definitely aside from Maybe latrice Royale (who has served a few crunchy old school gowns) I think out of all the big girls Eureka and Latrice know their bodies and how to work with them the best. I think everyone had such a visceral reaction to the AS7 because it didn't feel like a fair ending. Jinkx slayed the season but a lip sync for the crown it was not.They just should have found a better way to end it because Jinkx deserved to win the season but based on the whole point of the season it doesn't feel like she won. Also it left a bad taste for other winners who are saying they don't want to go back and that sucks more than the outcome of that lip sync 🤣🤣🤣

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate about all stars 3 and say the jury twist could've worked if they gave a better reasoning on why Shangela didn't deserve to be in the final lip sync, Alot of the girls of that season stated that Shangela irked them and upsetted them with her behavior but the editing never showed that, all they showed was that the jury was bitter with Shangela eliminating/winning therefore giving Shangela sympathy from the viewers. I mean they weren't afraid to show Alaska as a brat on All Stars 2, why hide it with Shangela. It could've saved Kennedy and Trixie from all the hate for getting into the Finale.

Again, the problem with AS7 is that the changed the rules to justify Jinkx winning. Based of the rules established episode 1, Monet should’ve won. Like Imagine if the final challenge to secure the crown was a sewing challenge…and Ru said, despite her garment being terrible, that Jinkx won…just because she did well the whole season (even though she’s been saying since the first episode that the final challenge determines the winner). Like yes the fandom would lose their shit, but changing the rules just to suit the fandom, when it screws over the Queens, is bullshit. Anyone to soft to accept a Monet win, BASED OF OFF THE RULES ESTABLISHED in the first episode, is a weak ass bitch. But changing the rules to suit the toxic fandom is worse.

You give Jujubee way too much credit for All Stars 5. I remember that three in one look she did, everything was straight off the rack. Many of her looks are inconsistent and just not always at a high enough level compared to some other queens, I'd have put Miz Cracker before her in ranking honestly. Because Kennedy bombed AS3, Trixie's run disappointed her fans but she got two wins and a few bottom placements were kind of like Kylie Soniques , she was just in the btm because she didn't win . But her run disappointed her fans but it wasn't abysmal like Kennedys run , she was always in the bottom aside from the first and third episodes I believe. But if the girls had to vote they'd have put Kennedy over Trixie had Shangela been automatically moved to the top 2. It was proven with the votes anyhow .

I think you are 100% correct for Ginger, but saying the reason Eureka hasn't won is that she is plus-sized is just false. The fans and judges have recognized how stunning Eureka is from makeup skills to outfits to "proportionizing." She hasn't won because both times she has been in the finale she was easily seen as the most controversial or disliked because of her often problematic actions and statements mostly during and after season 10.

Imo Eureka didn't cause her story is too spotty never spectacular or electrical but she compliments her competition very well. Ginger didn't cause her story is solid its good and great for tv but all ways feels over rehearsed and feels like a great story for tv. And her runways aren't good enough

UKVW is a great season. PERIOD. the finish was lame like s7 but all the girls felt rushed and FULLY AS1'd...they got that treatment. Rushed very rushed. They specifically chose a group of girls that were going to give it there all NO MATTER WHAT. Lemon shouldn't have been on. Idk she didn't deserve what she got but everyone else kinda feels in on it. All the girls new it was gonna be some bullshit so we're just gonna put on a good show. Damn near a pr stunt.

Yeah Monet won the last Lipsync. But Trinity won the So What Lipsync against Monet. So it doesn't matter. For me Trinity should be AS4 Winner and Monet runner up. But Twinners are great, they both deserve it. For me Ginger should've won AS6.
