I was normally playing the game and saw a Dustox icon on the map. Remembered Austin's video about shiny hunt, and went directly into it. Saw the shiny, did the method Austing taught on his video, failed the first try, tried again and voilá, my first shiny in the game. I was so happy, even if Dustox isn't my favorite pkmn. If I haven't saw Austin's video about it, I doubt I would know what to do. Thanks for this amazing content! (Btw i'm Brazilian so sorry the bad english)

For those wanting to get an alpha magikarp early game, there's one in the river between the staraptor (flying in a circle by a cliff) near nature's pantry and the alpha golbat in the heartwood. Kinda tricky to get to but possible. Its a planted alpha magikarp too so you can always find it there.

I was actually wondering about that. I got it once by chance when I was exploring what places I could climb up or down to safely with Wyrdeer and I thought it was a random spawn, but then I was in the area later and decided to see if I could reach some more Magikarps with Feather Balls and it was there again. Since it wasn't mentioned in anybody's "all Alphas" guides I wasn't sure if I just got lucky finding one in the same spot twice of if he'd been overlooked.

Agreed. For anyone still looking, it's in the same general area as the Alpha Blissey - you need to cheat up the same place next to Oreburrow Tunnel, but it's the cliff face closer to the group of Machop/Machoke spawns than the Blissey.

@@22NightWing I just climbed my way down the cliff opposite where all the videos show to climb up for the Blissey. By opposite I mean opposite side of the same end of the tunnel of course. I actually ended up there largely because I remembered there was a way to climb on top of the tunnel to find Happiny/Chansey/Alpha Blissey but couldn't remember where. After I failed on the side you're supposed to climb I tried to shimmy across the cliff on the other side to find an area where I could get up. After giving up I saw a couple materials(I think an Iron Chunk and a King's Leaf?) below me and carefully dropped my way down to them. Then I saw the Magikarp and caught it. I couldn't get back up, so I jumped in the water and it put me back at the top of the cliff at low health when I drowned.

Immediately after clearing Kleavor, there was a level 25 Alpha Bidoof on the beach with Ice Beam.

Pro tip. Grind to level 20-25, get as far as you need in the game to get yourself a Wyrdeer, look up where to find an alpha magikarp and use Wyrdeer to go down the steep mountain on a little patch of dirt then use a blueberry to bring the Magikarp closer. Once the Magikarp notices the berry run as far up the mountain as you can so you don’t startle it and as soon as it sees you run up to the edge and throw a Pokémon at it to start a battle with it. It will be level 55 and won’t do any damage to you because it’ll only know splash, use the heavy ball to catch it and there you go. Evolve it into a gyarados and you’re all set to start the game off with the best possible Pokémon. I would then go and catch yourself the Rapidash because it’ll know hypnosis and then the Alakazam 💯

Use the side of the mountain were you’re able to catch Blissey, I tried and tried to do on the other side closer to where the camp side on top of the mountain is and the berries wouldn’t reach

Found an Alpha Magikarp without fighting Kleavor. It is to the side of Ore Burrough Tunnel next to where the Alpha Golbat. You have to scale down the side of the mountain slowly and you can just toss a ball to catch it.

Alphas definitely know what there doing, I was trying for catch Alpha Chansey, and it was GOD tier. Keep using Agile Style “ Calm Mind “ and “Soft-Boiled” so it could use it twice…. So I used driftblim because it only knew Normal type moves after that…. Then it killed it self with struggle. 😑😑😑 all that work for it kill it self

This video is very helpful. Thank you. I love Legends Arceus, but I never beaten it. So I started a new playthrough. I find that raising level and rank are really fast. So I just focus on those. I haven't caught a whole lot of Pokemon yet. With the fast part I just streak through the story progression. I got a solid team of high level Pokemon. It has Golem, Infernape, Walrein, Magnezone, Honchkrow and Gardevoir. I got to the point where I got the Braviary ride Pokemon and the next story event is the Avalugg boss battle. At this point, I am just going to focus on filling out my Pokedex. I got access to all five areas. So I can fight high level opponents and make extra Pokemon level up fast. The next thing I do is alpha hunting. I search for all the alphas, and fight them using my team. It is a good source of experience. I mark the location of each defeated one with a symbol that looks like a monster face. Seeing the map fill up with monster faces is its own rewards. This does remind me of overworled bosses in Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. This is something like Hynox and Lynals. This is a nice challenge for tougher players. I wish that completing each area was done by just beating an alpha Pokemon. It is challenging but fair. The boss battle with glowing yellow Pokemon are way too hard. They come off as frustrating and unfair. The player can't really practice moving around and throwing balms before the fight. Alpha Pokemon are like regular Pokemon except a bit stronger. That is totally fair. I started with Obsidian Fieldlands. I then watched this video. I found I missed Kriketune. So I went back and defeated it. It is so close to Staravia that I forgot about it. Thanks for showing all the alphas. My nemesis was the Blissey. I like to go to that area earlier. I use Gardevoir to grind Machops and Machokes. I can gain a lot of experience that way. I tried fighting Blissey before. However I always retreated because it was too tough. It just absorbs hits and heals. It also has a strong double edge attack too. Blissey is tough to beat due to the high level and normal typing. Normal types have only one weakness, and so that is heard to exploit. I recently learned that Blissey has low physical attack and defense. So I came up with the idea of using physical moves. I used my Infernape, and it did close combat. It was about the same level as Blissey. Infernape got to move first and it one shotted Blissey. It was a big accomplishment.

Btw for anyone wondering, yes the Alpha Gyrados is at the lake and yes you can get to it without the water ride. It requires extreme patience and a bit of luck but once you gwt to the platform Austin was at there are little indents in the rock face immediately following you can use.

there actually is a garenteed semi hidden Magikarp alpha it’s appeared every time I went, if you go down to the beach behind deer mountain right where the bridge to alpha bibarell is and follow the coast line to the left, right before you get to the outcrop where you can fly ball a staraptor there are rocks you can hop down onto little islands with wyrdeer. From there look across the river and there will be an alpha magikarp

(This isn't quite related to alphas, but here's how to evolve dusclopes in pla) 1: Obtain Dusclopes While doing the Lordless Island mission, to obtain Basulegion, you must obtain a Dusclopes. 2: Get Star Rank 4 (if you haven't already) If you don't have it already, it's pretty much required for Dusclopes to be usable. Or, if you want it on your team. (I don't know if the Dusclopes will always be level 40, but mine was.) 3: Obtaining the Reaper Cloth If you don't want to grind points for the cloth, you can find it after defeating Dusclopeses or Dusknoirs at Deadwood Haunt (SPAWNS DURING NIGHTTIME) 4: Give the Cloth to Your Dusclopes After defeating the pokemon(s), they will most likely carry the reaper cloth you'll need. Go to the satchel menu, then give the cloth to your Dusclopes. Enjoy your Dusknoir!

Before beating Kleaver, I got an alert of an eevee swarm right at alpha Rapidash spawn point. Eevees kept spawning, and a alpha eevee was there. Managed to catch him with 3 heavy balls after dropping him to red. Nearly killed my level 20 team, but did it at 2 star rank.

I found the alpha Rapidash incredibly early (Read, highest level on my team was under 15), and through a case of incredible luck, mine had and proceeded to spam Double-Edge. After a full party wipe, I returned with revives and Plans, and slowly, via its own chip damage, worked the beautiful lady down, and caught in the best pokeball I could use at the time, aka a normal pokeball. Now everyone is close to her level, but she has been a mainstay on my team since we caught her. She is Taller than you expect, even up close. The absolute humor of sending her out is unparalleled, since she dwarfs everyone and everything around her, including the trees. She is 11'5 and looks like she could step on a man on accident. Second best alpha I've found for pure joy is an alpha Happiny, who comes in at a chunky 4'2, the biggest Egg alive. XD She also came in at level 57 like an absolute maniac, and I can't wait to evolve her into the chunkiest blissey on earth. Her chansey form clocks in at 6'10 already. Thank you again for all you do! These videos are so fun.
