Sad you all didn't make it, however tip of the cap to MLF for this team format. Watching two pros in 1 boat, break down a lake without practice, figure out gear in an MLF boat. Even playing field, you all said it, the margin of error at your level is so thin, it's the matter of one or two fish. Loved every minute of this tourney and I'm glad MLF decided to stream all of it. DC, bro sorry about the hand, watch that live and goodness...OUCH!

Pure awesome! Love having two friends in a boat and the time of your life! Seeing the hook in the hand reminds me a trip with my best fishing partner on the Texas coast pier at sun up. Fish are bittin and tearin it up. My first good fish puts a treble hook in the side of my index finger to the bone 2hrs from home at 715 am. I have him cut the split ring and fish to 6pm boxin fish. Get home 8pm at er and get the hook out...still the time of my life! Fish on guys!

Shee,ive never hooked myself past the barb but as much as i fish i onow its coming somday. Trouble is,i do most of my angling alone and i dont think you can really use braided line to pull on it if you're all alone

My partner took a treble hook to the hand at Toledo Bend in the same spot as DC this year. I tried to pull the hook out with braid to no avail. So he grabbed the plies and ripped it out. I'm still puking.

I caught a rainbow trout one time on a crankbait, and when i grabbed him to unhook him, he gave a big kick and rammed one of the treble hooks into the very tip of my thumb. It when through one side, and popped out on the other side. It happened so fast i never even felt the hook go in. The only time it hurt is when the fish kept jumping and flopping with the hook in my thumb 😂. Once i got the fish unhooked, my dad grabbed some cutters and cut the barb off and slid it back out. I'd say getting one buried in you're hand like dc did would hurt like hell though lol

Was in a wide open Kingfish bite a few years back big fish averaging around 30 I ran downstairs to grab some hooks a handful of 9/0 needle eyes and I fell coming out of the salon and buried one just like DC pulled it and man it sucked, 20 mins later sliced by a King for 7 stitches and man I was weak and sickly uuggh I feel for ya DC

I live in Daytona Bch Florida. I used to live in Winter garden. I fished the Clermont chain many times. Caught a good amount outa there. Fished a club tournament out there yrs ago. It was summer and hot. So it was an early tournament from like 4am to noon. Came in 4th I think should have done better I lost a really nice one

Man I just caught a crankbait to the face like a month ago. Went to er and they numbed it up and popped it out and the moment it came out I guess I passed out but never felt a thing. So it doesn't surprise me he got a little queezy after all that. I think its just the body in shock from the ordeal like I said I never felt a thing being numbed up and still passed out.

I’m scared to death of needles and I had a treble go through my hand and I legit bout passed out and got so damn light headed it sucked so bad. We had to pop it out using some Co-Polymer 😂 we had no braid in the boat and it wasn’t a one yank ordeal and we even left the other treble on the bait and when I did it. I was thinking what if I pop this out and the other treble gets Stuck. That was my 2nd time I got one in my neck and it wasn’t bad at all but, this last one bout did me in, I was really feeling DC’s pain and how nervous he was.
