this is a crazy bridge in terms of vocal range... that high note is an F5 which is so hard to do with chest voice!! it's really interesting to see each seiyuu's vocal range here. anchan, shuka and aiai really have amazing upper registers. i love ainya and kinchan's techniques too! it's cool to see them do a really vocally challenging bridge

I agree and disagree with this comment :) This bridge ranges from a C4 to an F5, which isn't THAT big of a range for a trained singer (it's just an octave and a half, which sounds like a lot but isn't really), but it's still very impressive considering that most people switch into their head voice around a C5-E5. F5 is a phenomenal note to be able to belt, and the fact that Anchan, Rikyako, Aiai, and Suwawa all hit it in their chest voice/mix is very impressive. The only bit I disagree with is that the other five did take it into their head voices - that's not to put them down at ALL, though, because an F5 in general is pretty difficult to hit without the proper training and the average person can't belt it anyway :) Shuka, Kinchan, Ainya, Aikan, and Arisa all sounded incredible, too! It's just one impressive note in a very long, very difficult bridge to sing. In fact, my three favorites in this video all took it in their head voice (Ainya, Aikyan, and Shuka)! Fun fact: Surprisingly, Suwawa actually has the most difficult "part" of the bridge in the full unit song! The bridge begins in the key of F, but Kanan's "nami ga tatte tatte" actually changes the key to Eb! It's incredibly difficult to switch keys so quickly (and without much of an instrumental guide, considering the flow of the song wants her to push that Ab up to an A), and I give her tons of props for that. For having one of the less technically advanced voices in Aqours, she DOES know her way around music, and it shows. Personally, I believe her and Anchan are the most skilled with key changes - Chika has TONS of them in her solos (Chika's solo, One More Sunshine Story, is the only one of the nine released to include a key change!).

I wish the singing coaches for aqours would tell Suwawa to stop singing out of her nose and sing from her diaphragm cause she would become a powerful singer. This song already proves she has the skills and power when she slipped out of the nasally singing, she might even be able belt on Shuka or King's level in a couple years. And I wish King would get more lines so she could start to improve like everyone else cause songs like this would push her to her limits and make her better.

Major props to all 9 of these girls. Singing very well and staying in character is really hard, but they smash it. Maris is my favourite (In the end it's all about preference. She's best girl for me) even though Kanans voice is not the strongest and this song requires power so props to her voice actress, and to Rubys, Yous and Dias for their great solos (and the rest too)

Chika - Her voice is good and strong and doesn’t waver. I like it a lot. You- Though her voice stutters a little bit on some notes, her voice is fierce as heck when she hits those high notes. Chillworthy imo. Riko- Her voice is smooth until the ends where she squeaks with relatively no style, but it’s not a horrible voice at all. Ruby- I expected Ruby to be one of the worst but she shocked me here. Those high notes suited her so well like a lot of the others but Ruby was exceptional. Hanamaru- In a lot of songs, you can tell she’s trying too hard and thinking about the stylization of her voice instead of singing, but she did really well here especially with high notes despite having a lower voice. Yoshiko- Amazing as always. There is truly a talented voice behind that girl. Spectacular style and execution. I loved it. Dia- Dia has improved drastically over time and this excerpt amplified that fact. Her voice was smooth and had a lot of control. It was a pleasure listening. Kanan- I expected her to be the worst, or at least my least favorite, and unfortunately it’s true. Kanan’s voice really does need some work as her voice cut off a lot earlier in some places where the others elongated theirs. Criticism aside, those high notes were so good. Mari- Mari is truly a gifted singer and easily the best in Aqours. Her singing here gave me chills and also makes me wonder why nobody freaks out over how good her voice is. It’s phenomenal 10/10.

I think Hanamaru should get the 4th single center. She’s so underused and has a strong, wonderful, and sweet voice. Out of all the Aqours members, Hanamaru has the shortest time for solos and the only one without a real center. Her AZALEA centers are normally robbed either through the live or by the other members getting more lines- King obviously really wants this too and feels like she failed as vocalist or seiyuu but that isn’t true!! Thapelo Sishi I strongly disagree. Sorry, but Hanamaru definitely got the least attention and that’s a fact. Her only focus or shine throughout the entire show was her episode with Ruby. Ruby got the whole Saint Snow arc in S2, and My Mai Tonight. Yoshiko got s1 e5 to herself and also got the YohaRiko episode. On top of that, she has a lot of solo lines whereas Ruby and Hanamaru do not.

coming back to this again and I realized that the more I listen to Chika's version, the more its clear that she did the high notes effortlessly. This bridge is a full-on belting marathon and is hard to execute especially when all of the girls are even playing as characters to fit their voices. Anchan does an amazing job at exerting those notes, not limiting herself while also not overdoing it to the point that it comes off strong and emotional in her delivery while also having a light and bright tone to it. She has a great singing technique and uses her chest and head voice for her to push those high notes with minimal effort 🧡

As much as I love Arisha, the way she sings here feels like she is stressed out from something. But then again, you gotta take note that Arisha does a lot more stuff, perhaps a hell lot more than the other Aqours seiyuus, which can explain why she seems so stressed/exhausted here. She is not one of the best singers out there, but I gotta admire how hardworking she is. And again, I say I’m still amazed at how far she has gone: from a Ranger and imouto to a school idol and oneechan.

Personally, I rank Chika's voice about 8th in my favorite Aqours voices list, right above Kanan but behind Ruby, because there are some songs where she sounds really good (I love her opening solo in Omoi yo Hitotsu ni Nare) and there are songs that make her sound too childish for my taste (I still cringe slightly when hearing her solo in HPT, as it comes right after the awesome RikoYou solos, and her solo in Daydream Warrior ruins what would be a perfect song). Of course, Mari, Maru and Yoshiko are still the top-tier singers in Aqours, but Chika's voice has really improved from when Aqours began (and she's not the only one; Ruby has also improved drastically from when Aqours started too). But hey, like I said, I respect your opinion. I'm just happy that Chika's solo sounds pretty good this time around. :)

I never notice that Hanamaru has a really great voice!! Her voice seems so different and unrecognizable here. Yohane voice never failed to amuse me. Omg Dia voice is so charming and relaxing. Mari’s voice is simply amazing.

Ok so Anchan has a powerful, passionate voice, the most passionate out of all of them Shuka has a really nice vibrato and strong voice, sounds really cool too Rikyako has a really nice, smooth voice, really soft too King has a really beautiful, elegant esque voice Aiai has a really cute voice, and she did the song really good, really suiting for Ruby Aikyan has an incredible voice, she mixed Yohane and Yoshiko so perfectly in the song Arisha has a really nice voice too, really soft, so smooth, like Rikyako's but more powerful in my opinion Suwawa literally blew my expectations out of the water, she did the song so beautifully, as well as improve her singing Ainya is really powerful, really nice voice, incredible high note, though she's not the best for me, she did the song so much justice Verdict: ALL OF THEM ARE SO GOOD

I'm a bias when it comes to GuiltyKiss members cuz I love them so much. But all of them are unique in their own ways and on their take of the songs and using their voice to fit for the song. It is very beautiful. And as individual singers that uniqueness shows and made each songs so different that no doubt many people would notice the differences of each voices. But I think that is the point of solos to show their own unique voices. I don't know much about vocals but I sure as hell do know that this differences is what makes them as them and as Aqours. Also while everyone is discussing about the next center(i dont really mind whoever is the center) and I'm here bawling my eyes out.

I like Zuramarus and *Yohanes* but Chikas is wonderful, she's able to make her voice very cute but so powerful at the same time, it's like a mix of everyone's voice. Very underrated and beautiful. Congrats best girl Zuramaru for winning! Edit: Omg u noticed me

Aqours improved a lot, and let's not fight on whose voice was the best, as they all did great on their solos. I remember their first lives where almost everyone in the group can't control their voices (most notably Suwa and Rikyako) but just looking at those concerts and seeing how they grew up (especially during their Happy Party Train lives) like how Muse did just makes me emotionally happy. I'm proud of the girls, now let's wait for PDP (which everyone had really great and unique solos)
