As someone who does read the manga, the most I will tell you is despite what it looks like at first, Best Jeanist and Bakugo are alive and healthy, and Jeanist does recover from the injuries he got from All For One.

I love how Bakugo chose Jeanist, because he's the most suitable pro hero for him. Jeanist taught him how to present himself very well, That it's not just about how strong you are, it's also about how can you make the people around you be at peace, whenever you're around. My man can learn so many things with Best Jeanist. I love their tandem so much.

I am pretty sure that if we even forget about Best Jeanist....there are also others for whom Bakugo cares about. Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero. And in Season 5, Bakugo even changed and started being nice to his classmates(well, not that much nice.....but still very nice compared to how he used to treat his classmates in the first season and second season). Bakugo has really changed a lot. He even kinda started caring about Todoroki and Deku. It might seem hard to believe, but Bakugo now actually cares about Deku. He now considers Deku as his rival and kinda treats Deku as his equal. And he has became kinda friendly with Todoroki because Todoroki and him has spend way too much time together in training, ever since they failed their previous license exams
