The #everybitcountschallenge with ‪@threerivershomestead‬ is on week four and I am joining in! I filmed everything that I preserved last week. I worked on preserving okra, hatch chilies, herbs, and fire cider.

I also love the slimy-ness of okra :). That side dish sounds delicious, I'll have to see if I can make it taste good. What a great video! I'm glad you joined in on the challenge! It is so fun to see how everyone preserves :)

Love the every bit challenge, here in Australia it's almost spring ,so rather the hungry gap😁 challenge. I have a lot of greens though which l enjoy before the heat comes and l can't grow the anymore...but summer brings the tomatoes and other heat lovers! Loved your video, I need to plant Tulsi ,it makes such a nice tea

So interesting to hear what season y’all are in!! Summer is winding down and we are really close to cooler temps. Yes! Absolutely start some tulsi! It is my favorite tea right now! ☺️ it went through the entire Texas summer 3 digit temps and drought. It seems to do well in the heat. I did water it every day tho!

@@therooteddietitian That's great to hear about the Tulsi, yes , it's hot here up to 49 degree Celsius, not sure what it is in Fahrenheit... But the good side is ,l can get ideas what to plant by watching garden from the northern hemisphere.Your okra looks really good too!
