August 5th. I was in excellent seats on the first base line (slightly drunk) and the Sano walk off was probably my favorite moment of the season. My best friends flew in from Portland to watch the game. I had flown in from South Korea a few days earlier. Many beers at Pizza Luce before the game... Was pure joy!

That stretch from 4:15 to 5:38 against Baltimore at home was incredible. I was at those games with my dad and it’s probably one of the happiest memories I’ll have in all my life. Just watching these early season rockets and enjoying life before covid…we didn’t even know how good we had it in that moment and that’s exactly why it was so damn good.

Think about this. The Twins destroyed Baseballs record for Homers in a season last year. But they only had 1 walk off bomb, 2 Grand slams, and 0 inside-Park homers.

That was one of the funnest years to be a Twins fan. Right in the middle of it Dish Network and Fox sports north got into a dispute. The Twins haven't been shown on Dish ever since. Dick Bremmer is the best in the business.

95% were of the solo/2-run variety which is a Twins standard, but for a team that never leads the league, I'll admit 2019 made me giddy. Crazy that Bux was a non-factor. No favorites here.
