i really enjoyed this video!! i didnt read nearly as many books as you! i also haven't heard of many of these. i thought my taste was eclectic but wow, horror/thrillers to comics to lore Olympus of all things, loll. this year I really enjoyed Slewfoot, The Wizard's Guide to Defensive Baking, The Harr, Clan of the Cave Bear, Remarkably Bright Creatures, Whalefall, Ghost Wall, omg so many books!!! anyways, great video xoxo 💕☺️

i totally agree with the animal thing, i like horror but i don't like dealing with that stuff. i also think it's sort of lazy?? like there are more clever ways to show your character is evil not including the harm of animals, kids, or women!!!
