Porter is already the backup pg and on that cheap contract will remain so, if they trade DG or Don. I am not so sure he is still on the roster if those clowns keep both small starters. Can't have 3 small ball handlers unless he is just insurance and is the 3rd stringer.

1 Kelly Oubre 6’7-6’9 guy who can get 25 on any given night, if we get him he’ll slide in and fit perfectly his role would be big enough where we maximize him and small enough where he won’t need to chuck shots up like he did with that Philly team. He’s also a plus defender he can guard a Tatum or brown. Also a player his size who can decently guard a wing player is crucial. That’s what’s going to make the Knicks so good. 2 It has to be a big undeniable one of our biggest holes with the wing spot we could play a strus or a levert while we had niang and TT playing. Mo Bamba would be nice good size last I heard he could shoot a little would be nice for the cheap. 3 another wing maybe one a little older we’ve seen how valuable Marcus morris was in the time that he got it really does highlight the lack of wings. A Covington,Batum,Hayward, and with Hayward let’s be honest he can give us 5 points on 35 from we wouldn’t expect much except some veteran leadership and the ability to play 3-7 min a game quick burst good leader guys. If we can get a Kelly we sign Emoni to a contract have him get some minutes I think we’d be like 25 percent better than we were last year. That big position really just needs a decent big guy not really asking much but just decent play. That backup point guard position won’t really matter unless we sign like a John wall type guy who’s willing to play that UD role and just be a veteran we really don’t need one once we get some wings caris can slide to the one which I really like because he can do everything on both sides of the court when you talk about point guard position. But let’s be honest Mitchell and garland are gonna have the ball in their hands majority of the time and if we disturb that with a tyus Jones or another guard we just create more problems than solutions. Next years roster 1 Garland 2 Mitchell 3 Oubre 4 Mobley 5 Allen 6 Levert 7 Strus 8 Okoro 9 Wade 10 Bamba 11 Merrill 12 CPJ 13 Emoni 14 JT depending on how he does could be higher could be G league for a year 15 Any vet Trade Niang we really did not think when we were signing niang one of the worst I’ve seen put on a cavs uniform and I’ve seen Bennet play Eventually Levert or strus will be traded honestly if we can package them in a deal to get a star wing player I say we do depending on how fast JT and Emonis development goes I think it’s a great move Honestly speaking we’re only a couple moves away from being a contender this would really make us borderline assuming garland and Mobley play they did last season if not I think we can really make a push especially with the bucks falling apart, the sixers battling injuries every year. The biggest question would be the Knicks and Celtics which I think with the Celtics we matchup better than the Knicks but I really think we can push both teams to a six plus game series. Im excited for Kenny’s new system I hope can instill some of that warriors pattern of play I think it would do miracles on the way we play. Hopefully this is enough for spida to stay, If garland isn’t getting better I think we should trade right away and find a wing or a two to replace him that way we slide spida to the one. Mobley has to develop that three point shoot if we can get him to 32 percent on 5 attempts a game that’s all we need that way we can play a 5 out at times and give more driving lanes for the rest of the players.

Saddiq Bey is the only realistic wing to bring in that would raise the ceiling of the team. Tyus Jones would be a gnarly pickup though depending on how the final roster looks.

You forgot how many times Kevin Love was injured or in a slump. When he was healthy and in a streak he was awesome. Other times he was considered the worst contract in the league

Oubre played for the sixers last year because hus wife was Hardens ex girl that Ourbre stole from him while they played for the Rockets. So it was more Morely saying FU to Harden when he signed him because Charlotte didnt try to reaign as a RFA. Batum or RoCo on a sub 5mill deal would be fine with me. They can play the other 40 games that DWade out with injuriy. Just play Wade against the Celtics. He is their unbeatable banshee.

I’m absolutely out on Klove… he is just Niang 2.0 at this point in his career. That would just be an awful idea I get it we shouldn’t have let him go a couple years ago but he’s washed at this point. Dude couldn’t crack Miamis playoff rotation last year My top targets to spend the MLE on is : Smith Jones Maybe Jones Jr Otherwise vet min level contracts for the rest of the guys

We got in house talents to let bloom as bargain hunters to fit the top heavy roster. DG got overpaid, I would’ve loved to keep Lauri and Sexton and Love. But we got Spida, and need more from within. Bates & Travers deserve real shots. Great SF rotation for us. Especially LT. The Australian Matrix the lieutenant.. two way 3&D point forward super glue guy. Put everyone else in a more fitting role. We’re close, a SF rotation with LT & Bates being injected, LT Plus minus darling super utility high IQ guy and Bates being a spark plug shooter with slash and playmaking abilities, probably never a plus defense player but there’s hope to be scrappy. CPJ just cracking open, his two way elite back up potential is serious. His defense at the position, high level blocker for a PG … CPJ MITCHELL LT MOBLEY ALLEN … is a block party lineup and a heavy inside attack … just be fresh and unique with our talent. A big man back up is a good idea for cheap. Grab Hassan Whiteside, or Cousins just a guy you hope does something worst case scenario, some garbage time. Not mad at Isaiah Mobley getting called up. We don’t gotta figure much out it’s simple. Just trust our development process and let them have a rejuvenated vibe year from within ..
