Tiny little theory that kept me up at night: They used this movie to establish Golden Freddy's dream manipulation and sadistic side by influencing Mike's dreams, by promising an eternal dream with Garrett and by him closing the door on Afton all Saw "Game over" style. This will be a setup for the final movie, where they most likely will finally kill Springtrap in a manner similar to FFPS and Goldie/Cassidy keeps Afton trapped in an infinite nightmare just like UCN, probably a post credit stinger where we see Afton as a security guard on a table getting killed 3-4 times and hear Cassidy tell him that both of them will stay here for a very long time

Cassidy is acting like a ring leader of the kids it seems. He's obviously VERY aware compared to them. Cassidy also wants to kill Abby to have more friends so I actually think Cassidy would have become just like William, had they grown into adulthood

Well no they have jsut been isolated for so long that they’ve become inhuman and don’t understand feelings or human ways, (even though Cassidy knew that mike wanted to instead live with the memory of garret being ok) so they would do anything to have a new friend. But also from them being so isolated they forgot that William was their killer and so he makes them think he is the only one they can trust and persuades them to kill abby

Yes, I have. And it's very clear that Fredbear (Golden Freddy) is a separate entity. The robot is not at the place and the blonde ghost boy is the only ghost speaking to Mike through the whole film. He also drew the yellow rabbit in the dirt so he knows who killed him.@@Interyoalty

To me it seems like Mike has some extremely repressed memories. Since he somehow hadn't heard of the missing children's incident at freddy's. And it was big news. So it seems possible Mike just repressed all his memories about Freddy's, and was so focused on Garrett he never got his memories back even while staying at freddy's. That would explain how Henry Emily could be his father without him knowing about Freddy's.

The thing everybody thought was a littlw bit silly was the 'I always come back' bit. But... He does. In the movie, too, even if not directly shown. And he knows that dying the way he does will immortalize him. Not just because of his remnant, but because of his agony. The SAW style mask isn't meant to harvest souls and remnant, like shoving the bodies in animatronics. It's meant to harvest agony from victims.

The trailer made me think the movie wouldn't be good, but the movie was actually pretty entertaining! There are little things that I wish was in the movie, like more explanation about why Vanessa is scared of going against her father, and it would make more sense (personally) if he had to take medicine to sleep because he couldn't sleep from the trauma of seeing his brother get kidnaped. Nonetheless, I liked it a lot

My theory that the kid possessing Golden Freddy is Andrew from stitchline books. The reason being he's a male possessing Golden Freddy, unlike Cassidy who is a girl. Before, I thought the kid possessing Golden Freddy is Michael Brooks from the Silver Eyes trilogy, but instead, I chose Andrew. Unlike Michael Brooks, Andrew in the stitchline books has rage over the man that killed him, just like Cassidy does for William. At the end of the movie, the kid possessing Golden Freddy is shown locking William in the backroom of the pizzeria, in a resentful way.

I had a higher expectations and I was a bit disappointed. Ik it’s a pg movie but like I wish we had the sound we have on TikTok when the spring lock happens and I wish they went with the original concept of the whole spring lock scene in the sense that it was the whole body not just the rib cage. I wish we had more jump scares since the whole game is based off of jump scares really. And why was ballon boy the size of a McDonald’s kids meal toy???? Like I’ve seen and played and read a few of the books so it throws me of when the girl from security breach(I forgot her name sorry) was related to afton. Also what did Michael sister have to do with the children?? Might be why Garrett was targeted, William strikes me as someone who would be jealous and pissed that his affair partner passed on his son as someone else and by taking the second kid punishes mama Schmidt by saying you can’t make a family without me and reminding her of her ‘sin’ by leaving Mike. Maybe Mikes parentage May of come out here as well Abby may have been attempt to make things work between mama and papa Schmidt. When Mama died, it was the last straw and he left, Mike never knowing the truth Annnd now I’m going down a Reddit hole of my own head cannon lol
