Every Collection Log you should get before Maxing in OSRS

These are all the collection log slots you may want to consider getting on the road to 99 in their respective skills. A lot of these unique items provide big chunks of skilling xp that will help progress you towards 99 anyways. If the collection log is part of your goals, then you may as well get these before getting to that point, especially if you don't like to train skills post 99.

Fun fact about the Pharaoh's sceptre stash unit: It's actually the only stash that works without every item used in that clue step. You can store the set of menaphite clothing on its own without the sceptre, so you really only need 2 of them

Another clog from hunter: You can get the Monkey Tail from hunting maniacal monkeys if you're dry at demonics, or don't plan on doing demonics For fletching, you'll probably need to fletch arrows for chompy bird hunting, so lots of clogs there. Also for most skills you should definitely choose to get the skilling pet before you hit 99.

One thing for construction that’s quite significant is getting the Bryo staff and Obors club, you have to end up killing thousands of moss giants and hill giants to get those keys and every long bone / curved bone is 4,500 and 6,750 con xp each. From 99 slayer, 95 obor, 153 bryo I have collected 112 long bones and 12 curved bones worth 585,000 xp and I’m still going for the bryo staff so that number will only get bigger

In the spirit of completionist content that's not on the log, at Hallowed Sepulchre there are 5 ghost knights that can spawn when looting coffins (one only appears from the final grand hallowed coffin). You can also spend 200 hallowed marks at the stranger to unlock private instances, and you can give 100 hallowed marks to the slave who appears on floor 1 to let him buy his freedom.

Going for the fishing sack post 99 hunter was one of the worst grinds I've put myself through. I say this and I don't say this lightly, it takes forever! I also did hunter rumors until I got the feed to traverse Varlamore easier and that was actually enjoyable, but then again I'm among the few that actually enjoyed hunter before all these updates. As an Ironman, I got my Xeric's talisman for my POH through thieving the stone chests post 99 thieving and I much preferred that method than Lizardman Shaman's, but then again only because I got lucky and got 2 DWH before like 2k kills.

The rogue's outfit was something that I was like 'I don't need it'. Well done 62-72 thieving on the iron in the past few days (in valamore, wealthy citizens/stealing from houses, plus done like 70 easy clues). At that point I figured, why not just spend the hour and get the outfit to double money. So I did, only took 7 attempts made easier thanks to the plugin. The moral of the story is I'm at 6 arma page 1's, and have yet to complete any god book.

note on thieving: at 91 thieving with ardy hard you don't fail H.A.M members so you could train there for easy clues passively. additionally, gnomes are great for medium clues. that opens up a hell of a lot of log slots.

Completionist content. Gives the grinders something to work towards and others another way to track progress. Doesn't really hurt anyone to include 'more' content/tracking in the game and keeps the hardcore players engaged with the carrot & stick.

This is exactly how I've done my max grind. 11 levels to go and the main thing I have left is the whole Tempoross col log. Finished rc log slots by lvl 97 (got both pets in 3 days :P), finished everything mining related by lvl 98. I've had the least luck with hunter - currently at 36m xp with no herbi or chin pet. At least I got Quetzin the day it came out :)

18:30 5t -> 4t is a 25% increase (5/4 = 1.25 = 125%). I assume you got 20% from 4/5 = 0.8 = 80%, but this is the wrong value. 20% is how much *slower* it would be to smith without the outfit, which is equivalent to a 25% *increase* in speed. Percentage increase / decreases are weird like that. Honestly it's a pretty bad convention because it leads to these kinds of confusions. It would be better if we all just talked in terms of absolute percentages (125% and 80%) instead of taking extra mental effort to subtract 100% (to get 25% and -20%) and introduce potential for errors, but oh well!
