I think the most important thing to note is that each and every one of these levels are at different stages of development, such as Acheron and Limbo being in the verification process while levels like Adramelech are still just a layout from what we know. This means that all these levels could be seen as top 1 today, but in the future they could be top 3s, 5s, or even top 10s.

Eternal Night is the best upcoming top 1 we've seen. But imo Grief towers all in terms of difficulty, maybe the brutality of Azure Flare is capable of competing against it.

Grief kick me harder that anything else, though I didn't have a copy of the superbuffed version of Eternal Night Cursed has but I still believe that Grief cannot be compared to anything else humanly possible (Corrupted Planet is impossible along with some other levels here). Misanthrope is pure brutality but I can agree that Eternal Night might be a little harder.

Every level stats as of now (June 4th, 2023) Shinigami got HEAVILY nerfed, and now it is not even top 30 Limbo got verified and is now #10 Acheron got veified and is now #1 Ascension To Heaven is almost done with decoration, however it will take a lot of time with verification KOCMOC got verified and rated (new version, a bit nerfed), likely going to place around top 10-15 Idk about Grief, I think its kinda dead Its been a while that i dont hear about Anathema, so idk Never heard about Eryx Avernus got verified and is now #2 Silent Clubstep got verified (the old version, not the decorated and new version showed in this video, which name is Eternal Silence) and is now #3 Natural Disaster got nerfed, verified and rated, placing in Top 15, but then got unrated because of decoration stealing MindCap released a 3rd preview of Heliopolis almost 2 weeks ago, it is half decorated. Abyss of darkness, silent Clubstep and Acheron have all been verified, Acheron finally dethroned slaughterhouse and has 2 more people currently attempting it, kocmoc has been released recently, the human limit is close to being released and I haven’t heard of the other levels. The thing to note is: Abyss of darkness and silent Clubstep we’re said to be top 1s but neither actually beat slaughterhouse, so we don’t know how many of these levels would actually be top 1 if verified, plus the mark to beat now is Acheron, not slaughterhouse so some of these might no longer be top 1 contenders.

DISCLAIMER: DONT READ ANY FURTHER IF YOU GET MAD EASILY: something about ascension to heaven rubs me the wrong way. its not BAD in terms of decoration, the gameplay is fun but really hard, I think maybe because its so long, I get bored of watching after a while, and some of the trials gameplay looks too similar to one another. (its just my opinion, a very dumb opinion.) also, some of the trials like the second one, are very tedious to watch and get really boring, as it feels dragged on. (also, I feel like its not top one anymore because Acheron got verified. But I don't know, I'm not a top player.) BUT. BUT! The decoration is AMAZING.
