We need more videos like this. The official manual is often confusing in the sense that it is lacking proper examples. Best way to get to know what something does is to see it in action. A few errors I noticed in the chapters; 7:33 (wrap), 11:37 (platform), these wo chapters aren't set at these timestamps. Also at 13:00 it says 'sign' instead of sine. Anyway, good work!
@gamedesignwithreilly2 жыл бұрын
Thanks R. The timestamps are on auto, should really start adding my own and up my KZbin game. Also this video is filled with errors, might make a updated version that goes in more detail soon.
@RR184752 жыл бұрын
@@gamedesignwithreilly Still a dang good job by KZbin if it's auto time stamping. Perhaps it's possible to modify the auto time stamps. Also your videos have this thick black stroke around its content. Is that because you want to 'hide' the Windows taskbar, and the Chrome tabs? Because you can also press F11 and go fullscreen in the browser. That way your content fills the screen fully. It will look more professional and the content will also be better visible. If you want to preview a game just use shortcuts; F5 to preview, and to close the preview tab in Chrome (Ctrl+W) and you're back in Construct, still fullscreen. Or at least that's how I would do it.

hello from France, thank you, thanks to your tutorial, I saw how to make a sprite move with a mouse! insert a mouse, then select 2 behaviors, first the "8 directions" and secondly, "drag and drop" , ps, the mouse must be added from an active layer, and selected, above the locked decor layer en francais pour les gaulois..... merci, grace a ton tuto, j'ai vu comment faire bouger un sprite avec une souris! inserer une souris, puis selectionner 2 comportements, en premier les 8 directions et en deuxieme, le glisser deposer, ps, la souris doit etre ajoutée depuis un calque actif, et selectionné, au dessus du calque de décor verrouillé

Very nice. Can you do a beeakdown of the behaviors of Gdevelop. With examples. Construct and Gdevelop are very similar so there may not be that much work to showcase the core behaviors. I feel like the gdevelop community could really use a video like this.
