This story was freaky, but in a way, cool as well. I admit that ever since wondering if anyone else felt like Super Mario 64 was a bit creepy, I’ve gotten a bit into some of the conspiracies, especially the one about every copy of the game being personalized and the evidence being the wario head apparition. I don’t have an original copy, I played the DS remake as a kid and I’m playing it again now on mario 3D all-stars so it makes me wonder if it’s still the same and sometimes, the thought is very unsettling. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to turn a corner on mario 64 again without anticipating the appearance of a wario head. My friend has an original copy of mario 64 and I’ve played it with him (mostly to do the blj) and now I’m wondering if I should tell him what I’ve learned about some of the game conspiracies, especially this one. Anyway, nice video, also, your voice was really relaxing, I felt like I was beings told a bedtime story, I bit of a scary one anyway 👌

Honestly, I felt scared even with the DS remake. It might just be because I was afraid of everything but I was always afraid of some of the stuff there. Like the message in hazy maze that said Dory could apparently eat you. Or just sometimes how empty the world's felt sometimes like wet dry world. But I've never played the original.

I played the original game on the game boy I believe, and I never felt uneasy until after I beat the game, when I started to question things like why was mario there, and what else was there to find, I started to pay more attention to the small details, and honestly that’s when it started to freak me out and make me feel uneasy no matter where I was in the game, something always just felt wrong after that.

My n64 games always glitch out because the game cartridge are dirty. When it's dirty the game won't start or even if it did start the game will be all glitchy looking. For over 10 years I never questioned the glitches that occurs with the games I play, but now that I'm into these creepy pasta and stuff, I'm questioning if theres any secret meanings to the glitches that happen when I play and many others don't know about

I once saw a glitch on my Wii version of Mario, and it was super creepy. Then, when I was going to defeat Bowser, he wasn't there, then the game said, "YOUR NEXT" and crashed. Innoventions at Epcot? Just a little before the release of Mario 64, in 1996? Is every view of this video personalized? Because I was there around that time. A video game wouldn't have been a surprise at all, because they had an entire Sega section, though I don't remember seeing anything from Nintendo. I did make the same sort of transition from an outdoorsy, hyperactive kid to a video game geek soon after though, when I got a Game Boy for that Christmas, even if I never had an N64... Nothing quite so creepy as finding a creepypasta that sounds like you could have featured in it, yeah?

I don’t think Nintendo would have added on purpose scary contents that might have caused sues against the company. What is certain is, that their coders are great mathematicians and geniuses, and it is certainly possible that it contained some code to modify the game and make it more appealing and “replayable” without getting boring maybe. All the cursed and scary content comes probably from hacked cartridges… Probably the game adjusts difficulty or maps on its own, similarly to some new games which add more enemies if they detect you are a good player
